The room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent

Very clean, nice staff, the breakfast was good. The location is good. Close to the castle

We liked everything! The location, the house, the room, breakfast, nice hosts, the pool - we had a very nice time

The views from our room were spectacular! Staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of fruits and pastries. The bed was comfortable and not too much noise

The hotel is located at a quiet part of Merano, close to Trauttmansdorff botanical garden (obligatory place for a visit in my opinion) and about 15 minutes walk or 4 bus stops from the town center. The parking, while seemed small at the photos, fits all guests' cars just right. Our room, while basic, was spotless clean. The breakfast was very good, even if slightly repeating. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. Note that hotels in Merano offer public transport tickets for guests; this allowed us to not use a car at all during our stay. Also, Zima is associated with Merano Thermes and one can get a Thermes ticket at the hotel with 10% discount.

Perfect stay: great location ; huge room ; all amenities ; beautiful spa area.

Me and my wife have travelled to many different continents, countries, and cities. We've also stayed at plenty of five star hotels. However - this is the only hotel, which has blown our expectations across the board for EVERYTHING. Breakfast, Service, the staff, the rooms, the cleanliness, the amentities, the views - everything is absolutely immaculate. There were no flaws to note about for the hotel. The hotel literally made the our trip what it is (even though we snowboardde in the dolomites, that was cool too)

Both the breakfast and dinner were amazing - food-wise and service-wise.. We did really enjoy much. The best coffee Caroma by Valentin Hoffer was a hit - the finest blend. Thank you.

Loved the neighborhood and surrounding area. Also thought the food was fantastic and we are fussy.

A true luxury spa best utilized by those interested in more than a whirlpool and sauna though those were quite nice. This spa offers all the latest in treatments and exceptional quality food all provided by professional and courteous staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains and the villa gardens. Situated a short 30 min walk to Merano’s city center we enjoyed our walks into the city and the surrounding hillside. If I had to be critical I’d say the pool temp could have been 1 degree (C) warmer, the steam sauna could have been steamier and maybe add a cold room to the spa. Two nights was too short.

Location and not a typical hotel layout

Everything - staff, location, amenities, cuisine

Excellent hotel with all you could ask for. Brilliant spa & pool, very friendly and professional staff exceeding our expectations. The views from the hotel rooms are breathtaking and you can sit back, enjoy the scenery and relax. The rooms very absolutely clean, we slept well and breakfast was well presented and covered all tastes and food preferences.

Everything was super amazing I wished I have more time, next time for sure. The place was running by a family, a sweetheart ladies a mother and her daughters. They were super nice super friendly and hospitality on point. They will make sure you feel comfortable 100%. And the location is perfect just 2 min from a bus station which will take you to all the places. 30 minutes by bus to the 2000 Merano cable car 😍

Everything! Beautiful property, very clean and well maintained. Superb service. Half board arrangement is very good value and the food was incredible.

Wow, just wow. Probably the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The customer service was incredible. Everyone saying “good morning/evening/night” when you walked past. Luxury accommodations with equally incredible staff. I don’t know what others are talking about, these guys were friendly AF and I’m brown. The other guest must have been arrogant or required some random small thing that the hotels may have missed on accident and then handled it with poor execution. Wonderful massage as well! highly highly recommend.

Staff friendly, place is amazing
