Located in Bagnoregio and within 1.4 mi of Civita di Bagnoregio, Hotel divino Amore features a bar, rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. At the hotel every room comes with a private bathroom.... The location and staff were great. Free parking near the hotel is a good bonus.
Located in Civita di Bagnoregio, Case di Civita is 1.2 mi from the center of Bagnoregio, the Etruscan city. It offers self-catering accommodations and a library. Paola contacted me a day in advance and gave us alot of information. The place was spacious, clean and really just cumfortable.
0.7 mi from Civita di Bagnoregio, Il Palazzetto is located in Bagnoregio and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The guest house has family rooms. Michele and his father were exceptional hosts. Michele was in contact with us as we tried to find a place to park. He met us out front and provided us with a great parking place that was extremely close to the apartment and, most importantly, FREE!
CASA VACANZE PIAZZA SAN DONATO is located in Bagnoregio. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to free WiFi. The holiday home consists of 1 separate bedroom, 1 bathroom and a living room. Perfectly situated on the main square, the apartment was easily large enough for the three of us. An ample breakfast was provided and taken in the bar across the square. We certainly recommend this apartment.
Locanda Della Buona Ventura is located in Bagnoregio, 9.3 mi from Lake Bolsena and a 30-minute drive from Orvieto. It features views of Calanchi Valley. Great location, the owner Laila is a delightful person, attentive to customer needs, always available from the moment of booking. She also allowed us to stay in our room beyond the check out time due to the fact that it was raining really hard. Civita is is charming and romantic and anyway .. a unique place!
Agriturismo La Peonia is located in Bagnoregio. It is located 0.9 mi from Civita di Bagnoregio and provides free WiFi plus a 24-hour front desk. Newly renovated and decorated. Everything was in perfect condition. Good location with nearby restaurants and market.
You better bring a camera. You and your friends will not believe the views and sites without proof. Read up on its history, founding and development to gain an understanding and appreciation for the significance of this place. Make sure you meet Franco, he's "the man".
We arrived early evening so it was really quiet. Don’t know how busy it would get during the day with tourists. The restaurants seem to close early (9.30) although we did find one open later and it was lovely. There is also an outside bar near a car park, which was full of locals, and was open late. We had a great night.
Love the old world charm with the convenience of modern amenities. Beautiful panoramic view of the valley below. Very peaceful once the tourists leave for the day. Parking can be an issue. The trip up the bridge is a challenge especially with luggage. All but one of the restaurants were booked or closed at dinner which is inconvenient in such a remote location. Definitely worth the stay!
Definitively worth a visit, absolutely enchanting and unique place... on weekends, it gets very busy though, try to experience it alone in silence by getting there on weekdays, before 9 or after 19:00.
We did not stay in the main town of Bagnoregio we stayed in the Civita which my review relates to. It is a very special place due to the views, the bars and restaurants, the isolation, and the atmosphere.
The best time to stay is on a week night as it is quieter & less tourists! Make sure there is a restaurant open for dinner as their opening times vary! Only take necessary luggage as big bags are cumbersome & difficult to manage if u want to walk along the footbridge! We had an amazing time!
The pool was beautiful as was the location. Very spacious accommodation. Very helpful host. Would definitely use again.
Everything was just WOW! The Hotel itself was breathtakingly beautiful and the owners were very kind.
