We were pleasantly surprised by the pedestrian only shopping district centered on Via Italia with many quality restaurants and cafes (although most closed on Monday nights - we were hard pressed to find dinner!). We enjoyed visiting nearby Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral, and the drive up to the Sanctuary of Oropa including nice cafes is highly recommended. The funicolare from the city center up to the Piazzo was not running while we were there which was a little disappointing. Overall, Biella was a great place to visit for a couple of days, particularly if you like to shop.
Great city with character, pleasant and not crazy-big. Lovely setting and as bicyclists, the ride to the Oropa was spectacular with very little road traffic. Cycling a passion in these parts. It was a nice way station between the Dolomites and the Italian Alps, we could have easily stayed another day to do more riding in this area. Biella is very walkable and has great, hip restaurants.

Wonderful b+b with a personal touch. Very friendly and hospitable owner. Large and comfortable room (double bed a bit small in my opinion!) And large bathroom with a walkin shower. The village itself does not offer much (except a great gourmet restaurant which we used as our stay coincided with the birthday of my fiancee) but neighboring Biella (5 km drive) offers everything you want. Highly recommended is a visit of the Cerruti outlet in Biella and the Piacenza outlet in Pollone!

I'm leaving with a happy heart, I was delighted with every little detail, a perfect combination of contemporary and vintage desing, without losing the spirit of a house in Biella. Martha is an excellent hostess, you feel at home. I certainly wish to return soon.

You could not go to a nicer, more clean hotel with amazing crisp white quality bed linen. But over and above all this the staff were so nice. They could not do enough. We would not contemplate going to any other hotel in area.

Part of the ground floor of the hotel is a specialist patisserie cafe which is where breakfast is served. The pastries for breakfast were exceptional, worth staying just for that !

Very clean and spacious rooms. Great breakfast and really nice garden that I would have liked to use more, if it weren't for the weather. Comfortable location, and quiet. Very relaxing stay.
