The hosts were so sweet and friendly. Everyone in the town is kind and welcoming. Arpino is a lovely town, not overrun with tourists. We had an authentic experience, with the sounds of a rooster crowing and a cat meowing in the morning. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful, suitable for formal gatherings and celebrations. There is convenient parking inside the gates of the hotel.

Il Ciclope was a wonderful option for us as the friends we were visiting knew the owner and recommended the facility. The meals were very nice and the staff friendly as were several of the other guests. Waking to goat bells on the path below the window in the morning was fun and the view across the valley just lovely.

This unit is so well equipped it has everything you could ask for and more. An easy 10 min walk to the town centre and just a few more to the historic area. Free street parking was abundant and right across the road. The big test is always " would you come back " our answer is we have rebooked to return in a couple of weeks. Value value value
