Everything. I can’t say enough about this hotel and the staff. The owners went above and beyond. They felt like family, well they were even kind enough to look into our family history in the area. The food was the best I had on the trip and exceeded my expectations. The rooms were the cleanest I’ve stayed in and had beautiful terraces overlooking the water with wonderful lounge chairs. I only hope I will be lucky enough to return some day.

A wonderful hotel on the Calabrian coast some 5 hours south of Rome. Perfectly located for us for a night of rest on our way to Southern Italy. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional - at the registration desk, we were welcomed by Simona who gave us valuable information about the area and answered all our questions patiently, clearly, and with professionalism. The hotel has a very good restaurant in a perfect setting and serves a very good breakfast - eggs, ham, fruit, and a variety of cheeses, cakes, breads, cornetti and delicious espresso. Our room was quiet and very spacious. We aim to return and we award it a well deserved 10.

We loved everything about the hotel - from the very warm welcome and making us feel right at home for our entire eight night stay. This family owned and operated three story hotel offers breakfast and evening dinner, where you have the option to dine in the garden, which we fully enjoyed. The kitchen went out of their way to accommodate some food intolerances I have. Our third floor room with sea view was spotless, had fabulous bedding, a lovely bathroom along with a huge private balcony. A beach bar a short stroll away offers dedicated chaise lounges with umbrellas, along with food and beverage service by the family. The water was still warm late September when we visited, great swimming.

Vittoria and her husband were friendly and considerate hosts. The breakfast was delicious and generous, and the rooms were very clean. The property is located in walking distance from the port at Castellabate San Marco and a short drive from the main town of Castellabate Santa Maria. Our hosts recommended an excellent restaurant in Castellabate Santa Maria and even though I had already booked, insisted on calling themselves to make sure we were looked after.

Villa Toru is a very nice quiet place. There are lovely outdoor spaces - a garden on the ground level where breakfast is served, a shared outdoor space on 1st floor with comfy chairs, and our room also had a small balcony. There is also a reading nook in first floor with lots of natural light. A very quiet and tranquil place. The room was very comfortable and clean. As important as the room and space, was the kindness of Salvatore- after our 18 km hike to Ogliastro he gave us juice and water and fruit and made sure a nearby restaurant was open. . He also was very kind and helpful when one of our group was unwell. We highly recommend villa toru.

We loved everything! The property is beautiful!! Kind of in the woods. The decor is from all over the world. It feels so special and magical. We loved the host Gabriella! She has traveled all over the world and is so kind and interesting. She made us feel right at home! She baked beautiful cakes!! The honey is from her bees 🐝 The marmalade is from her fruit. She made everything from scratch. We can’t wait to be back. She was lovely to our baby and to us.

Clean sea and beach lots of places to walk to and to drive to. eating out was good can be pricey one restaurant called K has a tablet menu the prices twice that of the written menu watch for that on the whole very fresh sea food . We enjoyed our stay

Cozy picturesque village on a mountainside with small staircase streets. There are a handful of restaurants, all of which are unfortunately a bit pricey. The food is okay, but not the best I've had in Italy. There is no bakery in town.

This accommodation is absolutely perfect and I highly recommend it. A beautiful place with a sea view, quiet, surrounded by nature, close to the historic town of Castellabate with its picturesque streets and other beautiful sea views. The accommodation is very elegant and completely newly furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal. Your host Marianna will welcome you with a small sample of their homemade olive oil. Everything looks just like in the photos, and even better. You will have a wonderful relaxing stay here.

The location is perfect, my toddler loved the playground on the premises and the beachfront and that saved are whole experience! Restaurants are also on walking distance and the other towns of (Santa Maria) Castellabate are a few minutes drive away. The place is neat and clean but rooms a little bit cramped and bathrooms a bit shabby for a 4 star hotel. Overall the personnel were friendly

Wonderful place in the lovely village of Castellabate. The historic house offers rooms with balconies and a stunning view of the sea, beach live and the villages below. Very friendly staff, breakfast is served to the room, therefore the selection slightly limited but still charming and very personal.
