Borgo Canonica is offering accommodations in Cisternino. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and room service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The whole experience was wonderful. Such a lovely, peaceful place, with friendly staff and a lovely pool.
Set 2.2 mi from Cisternino, Hotel Falco D'oro offers an outdoor pool, restaurant and classic-style accommodations with a balcony. On site parking is free. A really great holiday at Hotel Falco d'oro. The personnel were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was really nice and the room amazing! It was brand new and incredibly clean. The pool was beautiful too. The location was good, not far from the zoo safari, Ostuni, Alberobello and Cisternino itself is a pretty little town.We had a really relaxing stay here, thank you!
Masseria Spetterrata is surrounded by 40 hectares of centuries-old olive groves, halfway between the towns of Ostuni and Fasano. The hospitality is great. Gigi was there to meet us and answer all our many questions about his masseria The rooms were impeccably clean and there was maid service. They severed a lovely breakfast with eggs, salami, various cheeses, fruits and of course honemade pastries. The kitchen was closed for dinner since we are off season, but there are good restaurants within a few miles.
Set halfway between Ostuni and Martina Franca, Agriturismo Grotta di Figazzano features studios in 9 converted trulli dweelings, a garden and free Wi-Fi. This farm produces olive oil, jams and wine. Beautiful location, the grounds were well kept with lots of small separate areas. The pool was exactly what we needed after a long drive on a hot day!
Villa Cenci is an ancient farmhouse set on more than 32 acres of Apulian countryside. It offers an outdoor pool, an on-site restaurant, country views and free Wi-Fi and parking. starting from the warm welcoming at the reception to the excellent food at the restaurant, from the magic of the location to the friendly smiles of the guys at the bar. Room super clean and confy, amazing swimming pool and green areas. Everything was just outstanding. I don't understand the complaints in regards to the breakfast, there is a wide selection of handmade cakes, excellent coffee and local products. In addition to that, Apulia is a gem to discover. We can't wait to go back to Villa Cenci!
B&B Trullo Barbagiullo is located in Cisternino and offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a bar and a garden. Wow! We absolutely adored this place. There are so many options to choose from when you travel to Puglia, but this is the perfect choice to explore the north. A car is essential, but the place is absolutely charming, with beautiful decor and a rustic feel throughout. The staff speak limited English but nothing was too much trouble. The pool is fantastic, immaculate and never busy.
Surrounded by olive trees and featuring a 19th-Century olive press, Masseria Gianecchia is a family-run farm stay located 5 mi from the center of Cisternino, and a 15-minute drive from the sea. Contrary to other "masserie" where the turistic pression convinced owners to distort the historical heritage of the place with too heavy renovations, the family owner, more devoted to preserve the local rural culture than to fashion trends, made a great job with a respectful restoration. We liked the place stillness and the friendly attitude of the owners and the staff. Great food

The town is lovely. Try to visit the weekly local farmers market (fruit, veg, olives, nuts, plants, cheese and more). There is one Monday mornings. Ask a local to direct you. There is a great bakery in town called Al Vecchio Forno on the Piazza Mazzini. This is a nice area to walk around at night and it's full of restaurants. A Pté nearby is a cute grocery to get cheese, meat etc. Please buy stuff here and support the local farmers. 😀👍 The town is very scenic, so visit anytime of day for good photo ops and views. For a good cup of coffee and the best pastries, go to a very popular spot called Almond just outside of town. It's not too difficult to find street parking here, and it has a nice outdoor seating area. Don't miss the creme filled Pasticciotto and Tette Delle Monache. Top! There's so much more to tell about Cisternino, but it's up to you to discover it yourselves 👍 Best to visit spring and autumn!
The Trullo Cime Bianche is just between Cisternino and Martina Franca. Arounded by a wonderful nature with many trulli still in fonction, two towns with an originally centre, ectraordinary olive trees on the way to the coast, with many different beaches. The region did keep a good rural feeling near to nature also the people. You find fantastic originally food. The host was extraordinary helpfull, charmimg and offering all you could find to eat in the garden. Quiet near are many cultural interesting lokations.
Lovely area for the traveller that likes access to several town and city centres with historic quarters. Cisternino itself is one of the nicest hilltop towns albeit relatively small. As a holiday location it provides easy access to many other centres, usually with a short drive. Other key locations like Matera can also be visited within a day trip.
There is a large market in town on Mondays. Bakery's and Bar's had freshly baked croissants. Fruit vendors had delicious items. A historic town that's lovely to walk at night. Very lively!
A lovely town with a mixture of new and old parts. Lots of restaurants and cafes, the butchers that bbq being a speciality in the old town. It’s also quite central to visit other towns in the area and not quite so busy.
Great location to our accommodation Agritturiso Masseria Calongo . Five minutes drive great choice of restaurants and cafes locals very friendly. Amazing views across the valley and Turlias (dome like structures).
The trulli themselves are really fantastic and restored in a very classy way. All comfort is present as expected, including a lovely pool. Located on a hill side, 5 km away from Cisternino, we profited from a lovely and soft breeze, more than welcome during the warm days. The host, Simona, is very friendly, helpful and professional. It even appeared to be a perfect safe haven during this extraodinary period of Covid going around.
It feels like a fairy tale! Andrea is such a nice host! It was my 40th birthday and he made a surprise for us! It was amazing! All the details are amazing! And you can reach different cities within 20-30min max by car... We had almost the hottest day ever in Puglia and there is no AC (it is a trullo and we knew it!), Andrea brought us a ventilator and everything was fine! As I said, he is a super host!
Amazing place ! Very well located, near Cisternino and close to the main cities to visit in the area (Alberobello, Martina Franca and Locorotondo), we found a really chill place in Apulia. The rooms are lovely and very comfy and there is a swimming pool. Valeria, our host has been really nice and listening to our requests. We had a great stay and definitely recommend this place :) thanks again !

Very interesting stay in trullo on an active farm. Great location for exploring interesting places in the region (Cisternino, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Ostuni, Polignano a Mare ...). The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. The owner was very kind. We stayed 3 nights. The lady prepared us a delicious breakfast with home-made products every morning.
Very well maintained and charming masseria, with large grounds and superb pool. Welcoming and helpfull staff. Our room was in a (mock-up) trullo, what else would one expect in this area? Excellent hotel for a relaxing stay and to discover the area.
the accomodation is about 10/15 min walk into Cisternino which was fine for us. we loved the rural location & also the lovely pool area. the owner was super friendly and even helped us with an issue we had with our hire car.
Borgo Canonica is absolutely stunning! We stayed here before our wedding in Puglia and will definitely return. The attention to detail in the rooms is great and the grounds are beautiful. The food is always great.
Great Place with very kind hosts! Very individual and lovely Trulli house. Our kids loved the pool from which you have a nice view over The Valley. Nice old town of Cisternino close to have dinner. Thank you!
The Trullo was incredibly set-up! The bed was very confortable, and the AC provided much respite from the heat. The staff was so welcoming and kind. If you're ever in Cisternino, look no further!
We absolutely loved having the amazing homemade breakfast in the garden. This is a great place to enjoy the tranquility of the Puglian countryside. Highly recommended
Nice location to stay in Cisternino. The upper trulli terrace has amazing views. The owners were very kind and very helpful.
Close to Cisternino (5 min by car). Apt is big, cleaning and well equipped. Breakfast is good.
TRULLI CONTI is a very lovely house close to Cisterningo (approx. 5 minutes by car), next to a former quarry and a farm. The garden is huge and thus ideal for a family with active children who will enjoy playing with the swing and will be interested in the activities on the farm next door. The house is very well equipped: you will find all the dishes and utensils you will need for cooking, there is plenty of storage space, and the bathrooms are very nice, too. The house is very suitable for a larger family or a group (three bedrooms for two, and one with a single bed). The hosts are exceptionally friendly and greeted us with local produce, wine, limoncello, and other delights. They were always responsive if we needed anything. We visited the place in mid-October, so we were more interested in walks and city visits. However, I could imagine this place to be suitable for a summer vacation as well: it is a bit cooler in the Valle d'Itria then on the coast, but you are still quite close to nice beach locations.
Really nice property with trulli style rooms. The room was clean and had even a kitchenette which was well equipped. Breakfast was great: lot of variety and great tramezzini! The location is perfect to explore the Valle d'Itria (Ostuni, Locorotondo, Alberobello) and close to the airports of Brindisi and Bari. Make sure to NOT follow the GPS, but the instructions given by the host (Francesca) prior your arrival on how to reach the place. We regret, that we stayed only one night.

Very good location for exploring the neighboring heritage cities of Puglia, including coastal Polignano a Mare. Paolo, the host is very nice and very polite. The studio apartments are a good size and very clean.
We enjoied talking with the owners in the morning. They are very knowledgeable about the region. We spoke in italian. The breakfast is homemade and delicious.
