The hotel is beautifully nested within alps of Colico and the shores of Lake Como with an amazing beach side. If you are looking for a romantic get away location, this is the spot for you and thank me later. The WiFi connection reach is the strongest I have seen. It's still a wonder how the hotel is able to get its wifi connection to reach the beach side (This is a bonus). All other hotels I have been to, the wifi reach only works inside the hotel and perhaps the lobby and a few inches just outside the front of the hotel. For seven parks, be ready to discover the powerful reach of their wifi connection with covers up to the shoreline of the beach The staff do their best to make every guest feel welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome with so many options to pick from. You would love the breakfast here guaranteed 100% The restaurant and bar at the pool area also offers some great options to eat. Though could be a little crowed at weekends due to so many people visiting the beach and also taking advantage of the restaurant and bar for their meals The hotel boast of two pools, the bigger one open to walk in guest and inhouse guests.. There is another smaller sized private pool exclusive to in house guests only for those who would love to enjoy some little more privacy. The rooms are clean, we stayed at the beach view room with an amazing view of the alps and the lake como The hotel also offers a spa at a little bit extra price. Treat yourself to this luxury Spa because you've work so hard to get here and you deserve it as well. There a lot of fun activities at the beach you can take part in. If you want to swim the beautiful Lake Como, please go for it... If you just want to sunbath, this is the perfect spot for you... If you wanna plan a picnic, here is the place to enjoy it. If you are a fan of surfing, you will love it here

Colico is a quiet town at the top of Lake Como.

Colico is a quiet town at the top of Lake Como. Great for getting away from the crowds, and easy to get a ferry to the main sites. If you like sailing even better, decent beach and good waterfront restaurants and small local supermarket.

A hidden gem, smaller than more touristy towns like Varenna or Bellagio but with 2 great beaches next to each other on the lake with very safe swimming areas. Lots of opportunities to try watersports like paddleboarding, kayaking and windsurfing. Lots of restaurants to choose from, main waterfront square is the main hub at night with good food choices and spectacular views of lake and mountains. Everything walkable, we had a car and so meant we could also have some sightseeing days, Varenna and Bellano both 20-30 mins away, Bellagio about 80 mins.

Colico is a lovely little town with beautiful views.

Colico is a lovely little town with beautiful views. It’s very quiet with a couple of restaurants & shops. There’s great transport links. We took the fast ferry to Bellagio, the train to Varenna & the bus to Menaggio.

A superb holiday location with stunning views, wonderful grass beach, lots of walking, biking and jogging paths. Close to the lake an not too far from the mountains, so everyone will find his option to spend holidays. The town has good train connections to cities like Varenna, Lecco or Tirano (Bernina Express), this can be a value for those who come without a car.

I loved Colico. Quiet. Lovely waterfront walking path. We caught the train from Malpensa, then Milan Central to Colico. Worked perfectly. The ferry stops only a few times a day so best to be organised and book your tickets online. I did see people buying at the ticket office but arrive early. You can use the train also to get to other towns and sights. We don’t like rushing around so Colico suited us. We ate at Blue river a few times and we were always happy.

Since the hotel is not in a town, it was nice that it had an attached restaurant. We appreciated that the owner organized a special vegetarian dinner for us at the restaurant. The breakfast was very good (especially the home made jam). The room we ended up in had a wonderful view of Lake Como and mountains beyond. The lounge area was comfortable (we had drinks there and played cards both evenings). I liked how each room in the hotel was different - the place has a lot of character. Lots of interesting art.

The facilities were beautiful, there was nothing additional needed as everything was in the apartment that we needed. It was clean, well presented and comfortable. Access was by stairs to our apartment. Parking easily available. Views were stunning. Location to Colico excellent.
