The location was perfect for us—just a short walk from the UWC college, with bus stops and great local restaurants right around the corner. The hosts were incredibly kind, always helpful, and greeted us with genuine warmth and a smile every day. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tidied daily, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately when we had to leave they were on strike. Regarding the apartment, we did not really enjoy it, too small and with basic furniture. On top of that the second room was not really clean and the bed of poor quality, except for the master bedroom . We did not use the small kitchen at the entrance. The apartment is near the end of the village, but you can get anywhere in a few minutes of walking since Duino is not a large village. We had a private parking place reserved only for us.
