A lovely little place with great amenities and activities...
A lovely little place with great amenities and activities for all. It is best known for it's hiking/walking paths, but it is also a bit of a mecca for cyclists. It caters for all levels so is great for all. You can go hang-gliding, horse riding, rafting. There is something for everyone.

The village is small but well equipped with all the amenities. It's also within a 30-45 minute walk to Merano, either via the higher pathway (i.e. the Algunder Waalweg) or via lower streets. On Friday mornings there is an organic vegetable market in the side street close to the EuroSpar grocery store that sells delicious local produce.

This is a lovely apart-hotel, in the hills just outside Algundo. We loved this place; the outdoor pool with honesty bar, al fresco yoga classes with a fantastic teacher, shop stocked with local produce. The location is beautiful with a bus stop less than 5 mins walk away, serviced by a regular local bus service into Algundo and Merano. The setting is stunning with some great walks and hikes on your doorstep, depending how active you are. The hosts are lovely and really helpful, putting us in touch with local bike rental.

We booked our stay last minute, after our other accomodation cancelled on us. I will be honest, thist might have been the most fortunate unfortunate event. 😊 The staff was the kindest, the place was sparkling clean, the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing, and as a very important bonus, our dog was also welcome here. We highly recommend this place, and whenever we will come around Merano, we know for sure where to stay!

L’appartamento offre una vista su Merano davvero bella. La posizione è ottima perchè si trova un po più rialzata rispetto a Merano e quindi la temperatura in estate è più bassa, e si raggiunge bene in macchina. L’appartamento è grande e dispone di tutto il necessario. La struttura ha anche una piscina.

The apartment was very clean, well furnished and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool with an incredible view. The entire experience was outstanding.
