Albergo Riva exceeded our expectations. Was the most beautiful place for our last night in Italy. Staff were amazing, the room beautiful and the view from the balcony was incredible, Wow. Beautiful location right on the lake. Lovely sitting downstairs having a evening drink.

Beautiful and cozy place with a good restaurant that serves delicious food. The area is amazing. Such a beautiful view with the lake and huge mountains in the back. We were here just to stop in between travels, but surely would like to come back for a longer stay.

Great hospitality, arrived late was offered great italian food even, prices are fair and everything was wonderful. Definitely recommend it. Best Pizza in the area!

Great reception, good location, excellent service

It was very central, with easy and free parking nearby, shops, restaurants, a grocery store and the ferry within a stone's throw. Late check-in was no problem since they have a very popular restaurant downstairs open until late. It also had a good bakery breakfast and coffee.

Very attentive staff. I highly recommend this hotel, will come back!

Amazing facility it blends history with nature

Wonderful location (it couldn’t have been better) elegant hotel and beautiful room. Ferry dock just across the street and so many restaurants in the area. AC excellent especially appreciated as we were here during the heat dome. Property well maintained and staff very helpful. The breakfast included in the stay was so good and lots of variety for healthy eating. Strange statement but I really liked the chandelier in the room! So cool.

Very clean with outstanding employees Location was perfect for all we did.

Nice small town on the Lago di Maggiori. Cozy and renovated rooms

Excellent location, stylish property.

The hotel and the town of Stresa far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back.

Aries hotel very well provided everything we expected, with good organisation, good breakfast, easy car parking at the entrance and helpful staff. Great value and convenience. The bathroom having a window is a very comfortable feature.

Perfect location, couple of minutes from the island boats, and about 15 from Stresa center. The elevation ensures a stunning panoramic view from the balcony. There was a heat wave, for which the excellent AC in the rooms and the outside pool provided perfect remediation. There were always free subeds with umbrellas available with bar service. Breakfast is static but very good quality with many options. Free multiple fruit juice options, including one made in situ from fresh oranges. You need to order free coffee from the waiters, but it is delicious. Private parking was great, we always found a free place for the car during our 6 day stay.

Wonderful view from balcony right over the water. Snow capped mountains in the distance and beautiful lake view. It's a 12 minute walk from the train station which is right next to the ferry dock. Easy to take the ferry to the Borromeo Islands. The indoor heated pool was spectacular. With great views of the lake. The water temperature was 84°F and very pleasant.

Everything! location, atmosphere, facilities, cleanliness and very friendly staff especially ( Claudio the restaurant manager and his team and Massimo in the reception)

The location was beautiful with beautiful views.

Our apartment was amazing and exceeded all expectations. The balcony stretched across the front of our apartment and had incredible views over the lake and to the mountains. The apartment itself was spacious and all amenities provided, along with a kitchen hidden behind cupboard doors. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and the €5 Italian breakfast was satisfying and delicious. We absolutely loved our stay.

Beautiful place , well organized, very helpful staff , great location

Perfect location and quietly tucked away, cute place with comfortable rooms with AC and great, relaxing breakfast room

Location was close to heart of beautiful Stresa. Host, Fredrico was very gracious and helpful with local information, including guidance to see local travel agency to plan for last minute train ride changes needed to make connections timely to Milan; this because of repair work being done on train lines. The morning breakfast was fabulous.
