United StatesVery nice landlord who was very responsive and helpful. At one point the wifi went out and she immediately helped fix it. The house is a great value for the price, with modern, updated features, and despite the cons listed below I would definitely book again!

If you rent a car, be aware that Sicily has very narrow streets in its historic towns. It is also worth paying close attention at the motorway gates - it is easy to get lost, and then you may have problems with tolls that you have not paid by mistake.

We were just there for one night, and we enjoyed ourselves.
We were just there for one night, and we enjoyed ourselves. Things close down on Sundays, so we were unable to go into the palace. We did find restaurants that opened later, after Sunday masses. There are many beautiful cathedrals in Paterno.

There are amazing views of MT. Etna and the mountains.
There are amazing views of MT. Etna and the mountains. The historic hill with the Norman castle is worth a visit and so is the cathedral of Santa Barbara. Delcious cakes in the bars! It is close to Etnaland, a fantastic theme park.

"For first time in my life - please give the agro-tourisme place in Paterno a 10 star recommendation, as the top-notch proactive service, and homemade and generous delicatessens (which were served straight to the morning table & buffet), were outstanding, and as good as any top hotel - perfectly small, quiet & cosy and very welcoming"

Wonderful, brand new, clean and friendly apartment, lovely owner. Pterno is an excellent starting point for exploring the beauties of eastern Sicily - all attractions from Messina to Agrigento are easily accessible by car. It is a small town, but there is a great restaurant near the hotel, we enjoyed having dinner there after a whole day of hiking.

Il migliore in Città, ospitalità eccellente, e camera con tutti i suoi comfort .
È disponibile anche un area cucina dove è offerta acqua e caffè. L'hotel è a tema filosofi, quindi per gli amanti della lettura è un piacere stare in quelle camere.
