The hospitality was outstanding. We arrived earlier than planned and Sami promptly helped us with our luggage. Don Vicenzo offered us espresso in the kitchen, and then Doña Martha arrived soon thereafter. Each of these people couldn't have been friendlier. After checking in, we wanted to take a walk downtown and Don Vicenzo lent us a short book with historical details about all of the major churches and buildings. We had to leave very early the next morning and Doña Martha insisted on getting up early and preparing a delicious breakfast just for the two of us.

We had a great stay in Randazzo! The apartments are located in the atmospheric medieval part of the town, surrounded by old volcanic stone buildings. Walking through the streets in the morning and evening was one of the things we especially enjoyed. The rooms are just as they appear in the booking photos, with a tasteful renovation that really keeps the character of the old building, while making the apartments comfortable and modern. Breakfast is served at a nearby local pasticceria rather than inside the property, which we actually really liked. It became part of the experience and was a nice way to start the mornings surrounded by everyday local life. The host was very friendly and helpful during our stay, answering every question quickly and also proactively providing useful information whenever needed. A very enjoyable base for discovering Randazzo and the Etna region.
