We loved everything! Beautiful grounds! Private and safe. Most beautiful beaches you can reach by car and then end the day by the pool. Most time it felt like we had the place to ourselves even though other guests where there. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay there again. Breakfast spread was also delicious!

This was an amazing hotel. Seemed like an authentic Sicilian family run hotel with gorgeous Sicilian decor. The restaurant was absolutely stunning on a wrap around balcony over looking the sea. Food is absolutely amazing at incredible value. The staff were very helpful

I stayed here with my family and groomsmen for my wedding. The staff could not have been nicer and more hard-working. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the view out to the ocean was phenomenal. Truly breathtaking views from the rooms with balconies in sea views. The breakfast was fantastic. The pool was a perfect temperature and nice escape from the summer heat. After wedding the staff gave us a gift bag with a beautiful Sicilian ceramic. This is not something you would get in the states. I can’t emphasize enough how kind the staff was. If you were having a wedding in the area, this is a fantastic choice for hosting a bridal party and guests. The kind woman at the front desk went above and beyond to schedule and arrange transportation to and from the airport and neighboring towns for all of our guests. We love this hotel and will definitely be coming back.

We had 2 weeks in Italy/Sicily and decided to spend 3 days at this hotel to recharge our batteries doing nothing before returning to the UK. We picked it based on reviews and was not disappointed. Staff so friendly and helpful. So much choice for choice for breakfast and very good quality. Cannot rate the restaurant as we did not eat there but speaking to others who had they said great. Room is huge though no tea/coffee making facilities. Lots of hot water, spotless and friendly cleaning staff. We had room 14, stunning views from our veranda. Luckily all other residents went out leaving us as sole users of the pool all day, fantastic. Great weather for May which helped. It's a bit of a distance from the sea but that didn't bother us as we had a car and didnt want to anyway. Probably in the top 3 hotels i've ever stayed in for value.

Signore Vito, the owner, is adorable and always at your disposal if you have a question or need something. The property is in the piazza of historical Scopello, and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance. The apartments are well isolated, and we were not disturbed by the business outside. You can't drive into historical Scopello, and you have to park your car in the Parcheggio Grande and walk the last 60 or 70 meters. If you call signore Vito, he will come and get you. We had a very pleasant stay here in a fantastic location.

    Hotel Antica Casinca Del Golfo was the highlight of the trip. It was close to some restaurants with spectacular cliff and seaside views. There is also a pharmacy and market nearby. The ride to Palermo airport only took 45 minutes.

    We didn't visit the beach.

    We didn't visit the beach. We were resting up around our pool. We drove past it and it looked very pretty. However.... We were midweek in May (Good weather) and there were cars everywhere. Car parks charge and for a small bay/cove even this time of year too many people. I would guess peak season it would be ridiculously busy.

    Small village close to the sea. Stunning scenery. A couple of supermarkets along the main road, which themselves have good restaurants. The main square of Scopello is enclosed, so there are no cars. Plenty of good restaurants, and a very pleasant and sociable atmosphere. Car parking is €4, or there is some free parking at the far end of the village, but it's not very easy to get to. There really isn't anything to do in Scopello apart from eat. The Tonnara (old tuna factory) on the coast, just a little way from the village, looked interesting. However, there is a very high entry charge (it's privately owned), and it can be closed for days at a time with no warning. In the end, we didn't go - there are plenty of photographs to look at ...

    A nice place with several good beaches in the area, a Pane Cunzatu bakery, a bar with orange juce, and a few restaurants (we ate delicious pasta con vongole in the Nettuno). Unfortunately not accessible with public transport, so you need to book a shuttle from the airport. There is a bus connection between Alcamo and Palermo, but make sure to buy tickets in advance, and don't expect any taxis waiting for you in the Alcamo - better book one beforehand.

    Scopello is a small village so more suitable for a quiet stay. There are no shops to speak of just a handful of gifts shops and one supermarket with pharmacy. We ate in the Square, not sure of the name of the restaurant but it had a very communal feel which was really lovely, so relaxing. I would recomment hiring a car as it is quite a rural area and things a bit spread out, not by much but maybe a 5 to 10 minute drive to the supermarket etc

    Rocky Seaside with magnificent views. Steep descent to water. Not suitable for elderly people as paths to seaside dirt tracks Most seaside venues charge fee as privately owned . 10 -15 Euro. National park nearby with walks to beaches that are free with parking at a distance.

    Alessio, the host, was excellent. He was always available to answer questions. It was very clean and comfortable. The apartment was very quiet and private, I read a lot in the hot tub (though I used it mainly as a cold tub due to the weather!) and was delighted that it felt like I could have been very far from any other people. It was a ten minute walk from the square in Scopello, and fifteen to Tonnara di Scopello where I was attending a wedding, very useful when you leave the venue after the last taxi!

    The hotel was very nice in all. Very nice and well thought hotel in an amazing location very close to the Tonara di Scopello. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful - even the owner himself! All of them were there to make your holidays as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was also very nice with local delicacies! Bonus was the very nice pool and surroundings. Recommended!

    Everything! Loved the location so close to the village and the nature reserve. Great place for hiking and for beaches. Loved the hotel swimming pool to cool down after a busy day walking. Most of all, we loved the customer care. Amazing staff that go out of their way to help you enjoy your stay. We'll be returning next year for a longer holiday in this beautiful area of Sicily.

    Beautiful views, comfortable rooms and good restaurant. Also only a few minute walk from the other restaurants and bars in Scopello. The big parking lot just south of the ZTL/main square gave us a discount since we were staying at the hotel, 2 day and nights for €16 instead of €20, and we could come and go as we wanted.

    The accommodation was close to everything we wanted to visit and our room had the best view. Our host was amazing and gave us recommendations of things to see which was so kind. Because of him we visited the best beaches and cities nearby that were beautiful and not too touristy.
