Hotel Clarici is just a few steps from the historic center of Spoleto. Its terraces have panoramic views out over the picturesque town. Wi-Fi access is free. This was the third time I have stayed at this lovely hotel. Excellent staff, very comfortable rooms, and a great breakfast. In an excellent location, walking distance from everything, and convenient supermarket around the corner. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Special thanks to Francesca, Moreno and Luciano!

Right in the historical center of Spoleto, looking out onto the Roman Theater and located within the gardens of the Ancajani Park. The room was fantastic - spacious room, comfortable superking bed, balcony, as well as a peaceful and totally stunning view. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. All were catered for, from healthy fruit/yoghurt options to fresh pastries to cheeses and meats. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Staying in Spoleto was the highlight of my trip to Italy. Part of the reason for this was my stay at Hotel dei Duchi.

In the historic town of Spoleto, San Luca is a charming, family-run hotel set in the grounds of a former convent. Breakfast and drinks are served in the floral courtyard. We were here for a wedding and each room was designed differently which added to the authentic feel of the hotel. The breakfast was good with a wide variety, the coffee’s amazing. But what made the experience exceptional was the staff. Extremely helpful and friendly. Would 100% recommend.

Spoleto's Albornoz Palace Hotel is a Modern Hotel and has a beautiful garden, an outdoor swimming pool open during the day, and a city-view terrace. Everything was wonderful. The way the hotel was full of contemporary art (from the owner and his friends) and the hotel itself was architecturally a piece of art. The room I booked for 3 people was actually a suite with a huge bathroom, a dining room, a terrace with furniture and a massive bedroom with a huge wardrobe. We had an abundant breakfast outside in the fresh air each morning which made for a lovely start to the day.

Palazzo Dragoni Residenza D'Epoca is a 15th-century building set right in the center of Spoleto, next to the cathedral. It offers beautiful views of the town and free Wi-Fi. The Palazzo Dragoni is beautiful, the rooms are large and luxurious, and it's in an ideal location in Spoleto. They went above and beyond to help me out with a car issue. Stay here -- both the people and the palazzo are amazing!

Most of all we are glad we visited Spoleto for the first time and stayed in a four star hotel like San Luca. Picturesque it is but certainly it is not as gorgeous as Spello nor as personable. Eating places there are but they are not exceptional. Gelato place is excellent. Spoleto is just not a fun walking town such as Spello or Orvieto. However, if you must see it, two nights would be plenty.
We only had an afternoon to see the town and fort. We loved the fort/castle and the aqueduct. We had garage parking in Spoleto while we walked through the town which was very convenient and worked well for us. Very enjoyable time!
Spoleto is a wonderful town totally reflecting what Umbrian life is like. It is central to all the interesting sites, Assisi, Perugia and Orvieto. The town itself is filled with lovely Piazzas and sites. The food is wonderful. To us Spoleto was representative of The Umbrian experience. Definitely have afternoon lunch at Restorante Bar Canasta. Dinner at Restorante L’Angolo Antica will please your tastebuds and give you a feel for a family run restaurant. Take advantage of the Spoleto Pass to see 5 amazing sites.
Spoleto had so much to offer. We planned a 3-day bicycle trip. There were so many more things we could have done and explored both on bike or by foot. The bike trails were well maintained and marked. There were rides for all abilities and types of riding. This is a fantastic place to ride. We enjoyed the quiet offseason.
One of the most beautiful cities in Umbria and probably the entire Italy. It has essentially everything (except a river). Great for physical activities, culture, food and wines, art and the environment. A place not only to go on vacation, but to live!
Spoleto is an interesting town. It is our introduction to Italy and we have fallen in love with the people and the historic town. You are spoilt for choice with restaurants and bars. We are looking forward to many trip here and expanding our interests further afield as we get to know Spoleto as much as we can, being a visitor to a special part of Italy. :)
Spoleto
The country house was an amazing place to stay for a couple of days. They renovated the medieval building very well, with a cosy dinner or breakfast place outside (with a beautiful view on the Spoleto castle). We can definitely recommend the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. The spacious pool area is well taken care off and clean. It's a perfect place for people who enjoy rest, nature, nice food and local culture. The city centre is very nearby (2 minutes by car).
Spoleto
Lyuba's place is so nice! Very centrally located, beautifully decorated, nice furnishings. The apartment is very comfortable and Lyuba helped organize an extra pull out bed, probably one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The apartment was very clean and bright and the breakfast items were very tasty! I would definitely recommend and I will certainly visit again! Lots of cycling options nearby which we really enjoyed.

Breakfast was wonderful. All homemade bakery items. The staff were so nice and very helpful. The hotel is old so come with that expectation - very clean bright rooms though with big windows and lovely views - Only BIG negative were super hard beds and pillows- I had a sore neck and shoulder afterward. Apparently, this is more of a US thing as I have been told that Italians like very hard mattresses?
The hotel is a wonderful piece of 60/70s design, almost all intact, and spectacularly situated. Some may therefore regard some of the room facilities as a little out-of-date, but for us it was an aesthetic delight.
Spoleto
Fabulous home in the perfect location to explore Spoleto on foot. The host is exceptionally accommodating and went out of her way to welcome me. My favourite spot in Spoleto. Highly recommended..
The most beautiful hotel! Far exceeded expectations, pictures do not do it justice. Lovely buffet breakfast too in the courtyard. The garden view from my hotel was gorgeous too.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and just so peaceful and the pool is pure bliss - deep and clean with a lovely view of the Umbrian hills. Would go back in a heartbeat!
