Right in the historical center of Spoleto, looking out onto the Roman Theater and located within the gardens of the Ancajani Park. We would like to thank the Hotel very much for upgrading our room with a balcony absolutely for free! It was a great surprise for us. The location is amazing with a nice view and a private parking. We spent a really nice weekend in Spoleto!

In the historic town of Spoleto, San Luca is a charming, family-run hotel set in the grounds of a former convent. Breakfast and drinks are served in the floral courtyard. The most beautiful hotel! Far exceeded expectations, pictures do not do it justice. Lovely buffet breakfast too in the courtyard. The garden view from my hotel was gorgeous too.

Spoleto's Albornoz Palace Hotel is a Modern Hotel and has a beautiful garden, an outdoor swimming pool open during the day, and a city-view terrace. Everything was wonderful. The way the hotel was full of contemporary art (from the owner and his friends) and the hotel itself was architecturally a piece of art. The room I booked for 3 people was actually a suite with a huge bathroom, a dining room, a terrace with furniture and a massive bedroom with a huge wardrobe. We had an abundant breakfast outside in the fresh air each morning which made for a lovely start to the day.

Completely renovated in 2011, Hotel Charleston is set in a 17th-century building in Spoleto’s historical center, next to the Modern and Contemporary Arts Museum. after days of staying in bed and breakfasts, it was a delight to stay in a hotel with charming and helpful reception staff , a pleasant shared lounge , and an outdoor terrace. the room was very comfortable and everything worked as it should ( not so common) the pillows were lovely and soft - (rare in my experience) the hotel was really well placed to visit the town ( even for those with cars)

In the historic center of Spoleto, Palazzo Leti is a residence dating back to the 13th century. The hotel is a gem at the heart of Spoleto. An old, but well maintained property srounded with beutifull garden. It really feeels like you are in a magical time where prince/s were living there.. In fact it was a palace owned by a wealth n family.. The decoration of the hotel is lovely, the room was big enough with a beutifulll view. Breakfast was sufficient, served with nice dishes, we could also take our breakfast at the wonderfull garden. The whole atmosphere was magical. Staff were extremely kind and efficient. Highly recommanded!!

Palazzo Dragoni, Albergo Villa Cristina, and Hotel San Luca got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Spoleto.
Most of all we are glad we visited Spoleto for the first time and stayed in a four star hotel like San Luca. Picturesque it is but certainly it is not as gorgeous as Spello nor as personable. Eating places there are but they are not exceptional. Gelato place is excellent. Spoleto is just not a fun walking town such as Spello or Orvieto. However, if you must see it, two nights would be plenty.
We only had an afternoon to see the town and fort. We loved the fort/castle and the aqueduct. We had garage parking in Spoleto while we walked through the town which was very convenient and worked well for us. Very enjoyable time!
Spoleto is a wonderful town totally reflecting what Umbrian life is like. It is central to all the interesting sites, Assisi, Perugia and Orvieto. The town itself is filled with lovely Piazzas and sites. The food is wonderful. To us Spoleto was representative of The Umbrian experience. Definitely have afternoon lunch at Restorante Bar Canasta. Dinner at Restorante L’Angolo Antica will please your tastebuds and give you a feel for a family run restaurant. Take advantage of the Spoleto Pass to see 5 amazing sites.
Spoleto had so much to offer. We planned a 3-day bicycle trip. There were so many more things we could have done and explored both on bike or by foot. The bike trails were well maintained and marked. There were rides for all abilities and types of riding. This is a fantastic place to ride. We enjoyed the quiet offseason.
One of the most beautiful cities in Umbria and probably the entire Italy. It has essentially everything (except a river). Great for physical activities, culture, food and wines, art and the environment. A place not only to go on vacation, but to live!
Spoleto is an interesting town. It is our introduction to Italy and we have fallen in love with the people and the historic town. You are spoilt for choice with restaurants and bars. We are looking forward to many trip here and expanding our interests further afield as we get to know Spoleto as much as we can, being a visitor to a special part of Italy. :)

Stayed in a Superior Room and it was really beautiful as was the entire property. This is one of those rare properties that actually looks better in reality that it does on the website photographs. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Stunning location in the midst of the Umbrian hills, facilities were excellent and the large garden area gave a lovely sense of space and tranquility even though the hotel was quite busy while we were there. Truly loved our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. Next time. A true gem!
Fantastic location at the top of Spoleto, behind the Rocca. Incredible view of the Ponte delle Torri right from the room. No other hotel has this view. Room was very spacious with desk and small couch and windows on two sides. Just enough parking in front of hotel for us to park our car. Very nice to have car right outside the door (this appears to be the exception in Spoleto hotels). Breakfast room and spread was good (excellent coffee).
Located atop Spoleto just steps from the duomo, Palazzo Dragoni is like stepping back in time. The rooms are lovely (request 8!) and the owners are absolutely wonderful ! Roberto and his wife (I sadly don’t remember her name but she’s truly very kind!) are at the hotel, more like a B&B, and they help with questions on the city given they were born there. We would absolutely go back and highly recommend this gem of a property !!

This beautiful hotel had an welcoming and pleasant feel. The furnishings were old Italian antiques expertly arranged to feel like you were staying with family. Yet you had WiFi, mini bar, blow dryers, fine linen, oversized robes and slippers. This is the hotel for you if you want to experience the warmth of Italians who can make you feel at home.
Spoleto
The owner was extremely kind and generous. When I forgot my jacket at the hostel he didn’t hesitate to bring it to our next destination Spoleto which is 10 miles away from Poreta. And also the accommodation was very clean and met not only a cardinal’s but also my requirements. Thank you very much for all. Best wishes, Daniel and Meret
Perfect location easy walk to old town of Spoleto. Hotel is also art museum with many interesting objects and each room designed by different artist. Breakfast was very chic and staff was friendly. Very cautious regarding the virus, even the keys are sealed in plastic and left in a basket. Super comfortable room
Spoleto
Great breakfast options included, super helpful and friendly host with excellent suggestions. Very clean and well appointed, as new apartment. So easy to get around Spoleto which is a very pretty and interesting town. Quiet and comfortable. Washing machine and dishwasher were excellent and easy to use.
Hotel Villa Cristina is a lovely villa just outside of Spoleto. We liked the room and the service. Our hostess was so kind and helpful. We especially liked the delicious and fresh breakfast in the morning. We were given warm croissants, ricotta cheese with honey from the owner's own production.
Spoleto
I got the 1 bedroom apt. : Very quiet room, comfortable, lovely views from the private patio, convenient location to Spoleto, Spello, Assisi. Excellent helpful staff! The grounds there are just lovely! The positives far out-weigh the minor negative. I will definitely come back!
