Mr. Fadi's support at the front desk was outstanding. His warm greetings, extra assistance, consistent courtesy, and thorough answers to all our questions were exceptional. Thank you for making my mom and dad's stay such a pleasant experience. We sincerely appreciate it. Also, Thanks to the young man at the breakfast buffet for being so kind to my mom and dad and for always greeting all the customers with a smile. Staff in general were very kind & helpful.

I would highly recommend this hotel for first timers to Amman because the location is peaceful and near downtown. Plus its easy to take taxi. In addition, the hotel is clean, there is a salon and the staff are helpful and super friendly. Many thanks to Emad for managing my booking and also to Osama and Ayed. Great job and will book again if I come to Amman.

FAQs about hotels in Amman

Forward-Thinking Royal Capital

The rapidly expanding Jordanian capital, Amman is an economic powerhouse spread over various hills. Atop one sits the Citadel, containing remains of the Roman Temple of Hercules, a Byzantine church and an 8th-century mosque and palace.

Also here is the Jordan Archaeological Museum, and at the foot of the hill is a Roman theatre, part built in the rock. Modern housing blocks surround it, but the most avant-garde architecture is in the developing Al Abdali business district.

The tallest Amman structures will be the Jordan Gate Towers and will house one of the city’s high-rise hotels. International brands of restaurants and bar can be found alongside more traditional cuisine in Amman, and many eateries are in the large Mecca Mall and Grand City Mall, which also has a cinema.

Nearby is the desert-like vegetation of Al Hussein National Park, and the Royal Automobile Museum which features cars of King Hussein, ruler for over 40 years and after whom are named city sights such as the King Hussein Business Park and mosque. The King Abdullah I Mosque has a beautiful blue dome, while Abu Darweesh Mosque at Amman’s highest point is a striking black-and-white structure.

Booking.com’s Amman accommodation includes 5-star hotels, apartments in the embassy district, and cheap hostels, all within easy reach of Queen Alia Airport.

I love the people, food, culture and the experiences of being in Jordan, but the capital clearly has a pollution problem. If there were ever a valid argument for implementing climate controls and restricting traffic in capital cities, one need look no further than Amman. I would encourage the authorities to invest in renewable energy and think about switching to sustainable forms of transportation. The natural ecosystems has been destroyed there.

Jordanians are full of fun and a trip to Rainbow Street is a great way to see their vibrant lives, to dine with locals in one of the many restaurants or haggle in a silver shop. There is an abundance of cultural things to do. Citadel, amphitheater, mosque and museums. Even if you not a fan of museums, the Museum of Jordan is brilliant. Interactive, educational and entertaining. Amman is a bustling city, very hilly but inexpensive taxis are the best option to get about. (Use uber to find best prices if you want to avoid haggling). 3 days simply isn’t long enough.

Amman has much history that is well worth exploring. The panoramic view from Amman Citadel is wonderful and should be on every visitor's agenda. It is an affordable destination, the people are friendly and helpful, and everything just works. Having arrived after visiting Cairo, the difference is vast, and a refreshing change. I'd strongly recommend Amman and Jordan as a travel destination.

Nothing is more wonderful than the history of old Amman. The hotel is very good but needs a little development in room services. The price is excellent. The staff is friendly and Mr. Faisal is definitely a helpful and generous friend, a great example of a hospitable Jordanian man. Thanks to Mr. Mohammed Ezzat who organized my walking tour discover old Amman. He is a wonderful person and his style is distinctive in describing and explaining the antiquity of the city.

Really enjoyed staying at Wild Jordan center on our first visit to Amman. I don’t think you’ll find a better quality hotel situated right in the heart of the city - two minutes walk away from main street and Rainbow street. Value for money. Parking in front of the hotel. 10 min drive from rainbow street. Restaurant with bar. Room size and cleanliness is ok. Do not expect much more for this money. If you are planning a one night stay in Amman, it is good. A Jordanian breakfast will be served in your room in a big plate. Staffs are very helpful.
