A lovely city with plenty of art, history, and delicious food. Oysters, lemons, okonomiyaki, etc. Miyajima Island was a delight and Hiroshima Castle was fascinating to see. On a more somber note, visiting the Atomic Bomb Memorial and the Peace Museum might be a little emotionally overwhelming for some people, but it was a valuable experience. Make sure to have plenty of time to go through the park and the museum. The local restaurants and izakayas were welcoming and chatting with locals was a lot of fun. I would have liked to visit more cafes in Hiroshima, but didn't have enough time. Overall, it was a short but good trip and I'd like to visit the city again sometime.Guest review byCarleyJapan - 10.0

The staff in the front office were very helpful and full of smiles to greet exhausted guests considering its our first time in Japan. Hiroshima , was the saddest place I visited but thanks GOD I did come to feel and witness where the horrible bombing ,which I only hear and read in books.I cried and nightmares of the photos in the museum. It offers more than just an atomic bomb museum, eat Okonomi-yaki, and see a red Torii gate standing in the sea. Vastly different to national heritage of Kyoto and buzzing metropole of Tokyo. The hotel is located approximately 10- 15 minutes walking distance from the Peace museum. From there you can see the very important monuments. The whole area is a must see. The room was large, bed was very comfortable and staff were friendly. The pool area was lovely. You need to wear a swimming cap. You can purchase them there. We loved the dinner and drinks by the kind staff at the Zatta bar. Taxis are easily accessible at the hotel. Thank you to the kind team who helped with organising them.Guest review byRichardAustralia

There is a bus from Hiroshima Stn to outside the hotel, or approx €10 for taxi. The hotel overlooks the peace park, 5 mins walk to it. 10 mins walk to the ferry booking for Miyajima Island. So central. The rooftop bar was amazing. Staff were so helpful. The restaurants on the ground floor of the hotel, and next door, were both really good for dinner. The bedrooms were quite nice.
