I honestly feel everyone should visit Hiroshima. First off, the bomb being dropped there was one of the defining events of the 20th cenrtury and the peace museum is a somber reminder to us all to never forget how horibl war is. Secondly, it's incredible to see the city that has grown up in the 80 years since. It is a beautiful city of rivers and bridges and is very walkable with yummy fod everywhere. Finally, the island of Miyajima is an easy ferry hop from downtown with its beautiful shrine and iconic torii (and tame deer).Guest review byDarylCanada - 10.0

A lovely city with plenty of art, history, and delicious food. Oysters, lemons, okonomiyaki, etc. Miyajima Island was a delight and Hiroshima Castle was fascinating to see. On a more somber note, visiting the Atomic Bomb Memorial and the Peace Museum might be a little emotionally overwhelming for some people, but it was a valuable experience. Make sure to have plenty of time to go through the park and the museum. The local restaurants and izakayas were welcoming and chatting with locals was a lot of fun. I would have liked to visit more cafes in Hiroshima, but didn't have enough time. Overall, it was a short but good trip and I'd like to visit the city again sometime.Guest review byCarleyJapan - 10.0

The staff in the front office were very helpful and full of smiles to greet exhausted guests considering its our first time in Japan. Hiroshima , was the saddest place I visited but thanks GOD I did come to feel and witness where the horrible bombing ,which I only hear and read in books.I cried and nightmares of the photos in the museum. A small Lawson is right next to the hotel so it's convenient if got hungry. The room and bathroom is really clean, powerfull shower and the room is not too small have space for a small luggage and has a window for natural light. Laundry machine is good and really powerfull for the dryer.
