This property is one of the most special places i have ever stayed in. Every area is so well considered with the attention to detail and the materials used extraordinary. The food both nights i stayed were highlights of my whole trip and every single staff member from the moment i arrived couldn’t have been more warm and welcoming. As i was travelling alone - they took the time ask me of i had a preference where i’d like to sit during dinner in case i felt uncomfortable in any way which was so sweet and appreciated.

This was a perfect option for accommodation while visiting Naoshima island. We loved the view and the overall vibe of the hotel. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast and dinner were great - not quite traditional so a pleasant change of pace. The location was also great - easy to walk from the ferry- sure a bit of an uphill climb, but nothing too dramatic ( although we were not pushing heavy luggage). It was also possible to walk to Chichu art Museum. I would happily stay here again if I went back to Naoshima.

Traditional Japanese style house with a good landscape, nice furniture, necessary items for staycation and a lot of board games! Love it! The property was full of the convenient and comfy. Also has a good smell and near by the sea. We love it!

Wonderful hosts.Picked us up at the ferry and made sure we got to the museum and a nice dinner out for our very short stay.Their home was pristine,well supplied ,comfortable beds and plenty of room. Easy to do a morning walk through the town and view the fishing harbor.

it has a lot of rooms and it is clean, beautiful and has a wonderful books about designs and arts. It is also has Nintendo game room with a cozy furniture. we had a wonderful time there.

This was an amazing property with the loveliest host. She picked me up and dropped me off at the port, and even took me back to pick up and drop off the bike at the end of the day. So kind and friendly. The room is in such a great location, right next to the beach which was a great swimming/sunset viewing spot after a long day touring the islands fantastic art galleries. The room was very clean and there was a roof terrace looking out over the sea. The shared cooking/eating facilities were great, as was the breakfast. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.
