The staff at Luxor were the highlight of our stay! They attended to our every need (and there were many as we were travelling with a fussy 18 month old!) with communication with the manager and staff very easy. The rooms were very spacious and well maintained. With an infinity pool infront of our family room we were able to enjoy a nice swim over looking the beautiful valley. I highly recommend hotel Luxor and will certainly visit again :)

One night at the Bandarawela Hotel was a real highlight of our stay in Sri Lanka! Amazing old buildings with original features and a sense of history, lovingly preserved. There is a cosy bar (with open fireplace for cold evenings), delicious meals served by the attentive staff and pretty grounds with a view of the mist covered mountains. The rooms are spacious and the four poster beds large and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the original claw foot bathtubs (now fitted with showers). Three friendly golden retrievers and a little play area kept our kids entertained. Highly recommended!

The staff were exceptionally nice and looked after us really well. They are also very accommodating and cheerful and are fun to converse with. It was a very pleasant stay and would love to visit again. Just a little heads up that the area’s network is a bit weak at times but it was a really great stay other than that.

This was one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at in a long while. Everything about the place was simply sublime. The views from the hotel are to die for, the service was excellent and the staff were some of the most gracious and helpful people you'll ever meet.

    The location is beautiful as you're surrounded by nature. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful and we were welcomed with a delicious cup of hot tea which was from their own garden. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The food is lovely (including the pure bee honey) and they offer other travel activities which can be arranged through them as well, if you let them know in advance. Can happily recommend this place to others looking for an enjoyable stay. Wish the team the very best and look forward to seeing you all again.
