So easy to get to Valetta ferry and good restaurants nearby. This area is quieter (not the cruise ships of people) and I think prettier. Rooms modern, with air con and smart tv, plus the roof is beautiful with the plunge pool. Croissants and/ or apples at front desk which is nice and coffee maker/ fridge in room which is what I like. Contact with owner was great and they have a personal driver ( rather than app) for those early morning pick ups.

Loved my stay and will stay next time I visit. Everything was great, facilities top notch and nothing too much trouble for the staff.

I had a fantastic week at Dock 1 Boutique Hotel in Cospicua. The hotel is small, cozy, and impeccably clean, with a great location and a perfect balcony view. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay—there wasn't a single thing I disliked. Overall, it was a delightful and comfortable experience.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, away from noisy and bustling areas, yet extremely easy and quick access such places like Valletta by boat or bus. Property was very clean and comfortable, with exceptionally friendly staff. Though they advertise as having a "Simple" breakfast included, it was actually a basket with handmade sandwich, cut fruits, crackers/cheese, drink and coffee, delivered to you room every morning - far more than what you'd expect from the word "simple" and perfect to get you fueled up for the day.

We’re a couple in our 50's/60's on a short trip to Malta. This apartment was wonderful! It was comfortable and roomy, with thick walls and windows that blocked out noise. It had a full-size bed, a kettle for tea and coffee, and dishes and glasses. The refrigerator was a good size, and the hosts left two large bottles of water and a bottle of prosecco for us, which was a lovely touch. The air conditioning worked well, and we were glad of it since Malta’s evenings were still warm. The Wi-Fi was also very good. The modern bathroom was spacious, with a very nice shower, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The location suits you if you’d rather be away from the main tourist areas. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the ferry and the small boats that cross to Valletta, and less than 5 minutes to the cafes along the marina. The neighborhood was quiet, and our room had a lovely view over the city wall to the marina. The apartment is a short walk up a hill, which you can take by stairs or by road. We were on the first floor, and there’s an elevator for the higher floors. The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived late in the evening because of a late flight, and they let us check out late so we could keep our bags in the room until we left for the airport. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our friends vacationing in Malta.

Don't hesitate. This place is as good as other reviews say. I was worried that Google Maps showed 20 minutes to the ferry, but in fact, you can use the Pont Karlu Marks pedestrian bridge, which the map does not take into account when building a route. You can have breakfast in three places — on the ground floor or on one of the two terraces, which offer beautiful views. The staff can open an umbrella if you want some shade. Everyone is very friendly, and it's a very comfortable place to relax.

It was a beautiful place and the owners were amazing and friendly. Very much recommended!

Perfect location, amazing breakfast and friendly staff!

We had a harbor view room, which was a fantastic split level size and extremely comfortable, with great views of the harbour. The rooftop pool also had great views. Staff were attentive and friendly and the breakfasts had lots of choice. A bonus was the water taxi to Valletta was a few minutes from the from of the hotel on the harbour.

Location was excellent ! Central , by on quiet street. One minute walk and You’re in the middle of everything. Wonderful and very helpful staff!

The hotel staff is extremely professional, warm and friendly. Everything is very clean, breakfast at the level of a 5-star hotel. There is no better breakfast than when you can enjoy relaxing music without noise - pleasant atmosphere. Absolutely wonderful and stylish hotel in the centre of Valletta with restaurants, bars and historical sites within walking distance. And still in a very quiet location. Definitely recommend!

The location is amazing. Everything is in walking distance. The room was bigger than expected and always kept clean. The restaurant in which the breakfast is served is easy to find, approx 5 min walk from the hotel and the breakfast itself is exceptional. Would book again

The moment I entered the hotel, I was greeted with warm enthusiasm by Ms Petra, who helped me with my bag and check-in -- that was a perfect 10 first impression! Valetta is an ancient town, yet The Cumberland by NEU Collective was fresh sleek classic modern. I have to give credits to the front desk team (Petra and 2 other gentlemen), housekeeping and the breakfast place. The hotel's excellent location made moving around extremely effortless. It was close to the main street which makes it easy to hop on and off a taxi. The cafes and restaurants out front were lively bustling with energy. Despite the incredibly busy neighborhood, the hotel provided tranquil and poised.

Wonderful staff, great location.

The hosts were exceptional hospitable. Thay have even called us, to check when are we arriving, since we were a bit late from declared time to arrival. They were friendly and willing to help us to get around the best activities during the Christmas markets in Valletta. They also gave us complementary wine into our room, which was great! The rooms were big, with beautiful balcony overlooking the main street. Of course it was a bit noisy, but it is expected, since you are overlooking the gorgeous and lively main street in Valletta! The breakfast was super rich! A la carte, with very tasty selections, but practically was all you can eat, since they served us as much food and beverages as we wanted!

This hotel is a great choice. High quality materialas everywhere; Bed & Linen fantastic; Breakfast - fantastic. I wish all the best to the Hotel's amazing personnel.

Phenomenal staff who made every effort to ensure I enjoyed my visit.

I loved the location and so walkable and safe. I loved the exterior and interior it wa so unique. I loved the specific breakfast very tasty and nothing to waste and great americano. I loved the staff and the guy serving breakfast turned me on to the FLEA market that weekend walking distance to the hotel.

Good location, very friendly helpful staff,a very quiet small and peaceful hotel. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.

Exceptional! We chose this hotel to spend the first 2 nights after our wedding and it was amazing! They gave us a room upgrade as well as decorated our room when they got to know that we were spending our first 2 nights as a married couple in their hotel. Breakfast was great, hotel was super clean and communication was great! Nothing to complain about

Location was great. Close to everything but off main traffic streets so quiet at night. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were cared for.

Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent—freshly prepared on request and absolutely delicious. It really set the tone for the day. Location: Perfectly situated, just steps away from lively streets filled with great restaurants and cafes. Very convenient for exploring the area. Room: The room was spotless and well-maintained. It was cleaned twice daily during our short stay, which made it feel extra comfortable and welcoming.

It is a really gorgeous location right by the harbor. Staff could not be more helpful.

Rooms are brand new, very clean and well sized. Location is great, just next to the central streets and places in the heart of Valletta. Service is amazing. Thanks to the whole team! Access is super easy via codes. Breakfast is not continental, but has plenty options. Definitely recommend Avalon boutique!
