One of the most beautiful places in the world.
One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.

Just stunning, white sand, turquise waters full of life and tropical fish, and palm trees. The ultimate relaxation! It was rather hot in February (32C but because if the humidity it felt more like 39C) and we got minimal rain. Highly recommended for this time of the year.

Perfect location because it is close to the Male airport.
Perfect location because it is close to the Male airport. Transport with speed boat is possible and there is no need for an expensive water plane. Nice small islands. Great underwater world with colorful fish and black tip reef sharks. Good for snorkeling and diving.

Great for sun, sand, swimming, dive sports etc. Plus good restaurant food .We found getting there easy by although a fairly long journey from the UK , However we had been in Malaysia firstly and took the direct flight from Kuala Lumpur which was only 3.5 hours .

A great place to relax.
A great place to relax. Starting from meeting at the airport and ending with departure. I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Room service was at the highest level. As for food, everything here was simply excellent. The island has everything for recreation and entertainment. I recommend)))

VARU is nicely located, not far from Male, therefore, the boat ride is only 40 minutes and it is a comfortable ride.
The place is nice with all the atoll characteristics, clear water, sandy beaches, Coral close by, sand banks close by, not big but not small either.
The food was great, experienced Maldives cuisine as well as international food.
Top notch service while under the VARU Resort stay and transportation between boat transfers and boat activities.
Room service was twice a day to tidy up room, re-supply mini bar and get new towels.
Distance within resort are reasonable and getting used to location of restaurants, activity centers, reception and spa are within knowledge after a couple of days.
Included activities are restricted to good weather, therefore, schedule as soon as possible to give yourself enough time to reschedule if needed.
Good variety of motor activities available but at additional cost….and good weather.
Great bar with a wide variety of drinks nonalcoholic or with alcohol from 10:00am to 1:00am (it’s 5:00pm somewhere).
Good internet reception (if needed).
A great place to relax and get away from it all.
Fantastic service, literally the best hotel breakfast I've had, amazing choice (freshly sliced cold meats and fruit). We stayed as bed and breakfast, the food and drinks outside of what was pre paid were expensive but good quality. Very comfortable, well landscaped hotel that is very convenient for the airport. We stayed one night at the end of our trip so the 10 min speedboat transfer was exactly what we needed. They have a lounge you can use for a shower/nap/cool down if your departure is after check out time.
The location is very close to Male so you arrive to the hotel very quickly.
The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, well designed. The infinity pool is very Instagram-compliant, the staff is professional (kudos to Rishwaan, good job), fun and smart.
The food is great, a great choice of meals from all over the world. Reef fish is something everyone should try!
I just visited this hotel in the previous month and I absolutely liked everything about this hotel. From delicious dining options to cozy rooms with stunning views.
The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast offered with a wide variety of food. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The island is amazing and the hotel is really beautiful, you can really disconnect there. The room is spacious but a bit outdated in terms of decoration, but the bathroom is really cool and the view to the beach from the balcony as well. The staff was really helpful
Good breakfast, the Maldivian options were tasty, plenty of fruit, muesli, and pastries. General hotel standard food otherwise, which could easily have been better flavoured and better presented with some very simple, more advanced food preparation techniques.
