Situated in Tulum, 6 km from Tulum Archeological Site, Era Hotel & Spa Tulum features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, free bikes and an outdoor swimming pool. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with any needs or questions we had about getting around the area. In fact, prior to arriving; they replied to my emails with questions and concerns promptly. The hotel itself is immaculately clean and quiet. If you’re looking for a budget friendly hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of tourists but still feel like you’re in a luxury boutique hotel...this place is it. Also, it’s close enough to downtown area, restaurants, and the beach that you can take a taxi or rent a bike. I believe the hotel had their own bikes you can use but we had a car rental, which honestly is the easiest way to get around Tulum anyway.
Boasting a garden and a terrace, Niik Tulum is set in Tulum, 7 km from Tulum Archeological Site and 5 km from ADO bus terminal Tulum Ruins. This is a great boutique hotel in newly developed area. The vibe of the hotel is very friendly and relaxed and the space felt peaceful, comfortable, and in harmony with the natural surroundings. Everything was perfect: the beds were comfortable, the rooms and common areas were perfectly clean, there were bicycles for use, hammocks in the courtyard, the pool was a tranquil space to cool off. I especially appreciated the help of Marcel who was very welcoming and got us oriented, arranged taxis, etc. Highly, highly recommended.
Set in Tulum, 10 km from Tulum Archeological Site, Alea Tulum by Blue Sky offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Outstanding accommodation, a real gem if you are searching for some peace and quiet far off mass tourism. This small hotel exceeded our expectations in any respect: friendly and attentive staff, tastefully decorated rooms with all comfort amenities provided, delicious breakfast, various water sports equipment to hire free of charge and a tidy beach with a jetty stretching into the sea to facilitate access for swimming. A big plus are the large balconies/ terraces and free parking right on the adjacent side of the street. Given the low total of rooms and thus guests this hotel caters to, it is one of the most tranquil places in a dedicated tourist destination I've ever been to. If you are seeking for a place to relax and enjoy this is where to head to!

Absolutely beautiful. Luxurious, high end experience, but absolutely doable on all budgets. We made it work! Renting bikes in Tulum was the best decision we could’ve made! Breath taking scenery. 100% will be back! Just- with more money this time 😅
i don't feel good when the time in Tulum u find everything there is so expensive and the taxi charge a lot of shot distance the connectives is walk too long to the hotel zone and the beach is not beautiful also is expensive to eat there and it just everything in a high cost to visit the conete do go there for cenotes is too expensive i pay US48 dollars to go but in Merida i just pay 35 mxn for a real and beautiful real cenotes
Tulum is a beautiful city, still not jammed with buildings and hotels like Cancun. The landscape is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. It is a pitty that most of the beaches are private, and you have to pay a minimum amount to go in. The prices are ridiculous expensive ( and we live in Switzerland!) . Since everything is private, the hotels cover all the view to the beaches, so you have to pay if you want to enjoy the sight. I hope it doesn’t get worse, those beaches and cenotes are a pleasure and a luxury to enjoy!
Tulum was lovely, much more relaxed vibe than Cancun or Playa de Carmen. It is big, with the town centre and then all along the beach front from the ruins all the way down to Tulum South - lots to explore. I would advise renting a car to get around, even if just for a few days. The stunning beaches and colour of the sea, it really does feel like a tropical paradise. The only slight negative is how expensive it can be along the beach.
Tulum has really grown up in the past few years, but the beaches are still absolutely beautiful. The quality and quantity of restaurants is fantastic. I was worried we would hate how tulum has grown so popular but it was really special and done well.
I think Tulum is growing too fast and there are WAY too many vehicles on the road. I used a bike and there were times I didn't feel safe on the very narrow and busy roads in Tulum (along the beach).
Everything was great, we enjoyed our stay their , the best hotel for real rest in very beautiful view (pool, garden, the rooms) Sweet breakfast The staff are great recommended us a restaurent near the hotel parador22 (argentine and italian food 5/5) En general it was perfect (location is far from tulum 20km) bur if you have a car it is worth And the hotel is the best for whom are interested by visiting cenotes Spreading love From Morocco to aldea balam hotel
It’s really not like staying at a hotel — a lovely room, nestled in the jungle. A lot of privacy. White sand paths to the beautiful beach. We were there in the second week of December and the beach was very quiet (just before high season starts). Easy walking distance to a lot of beautiful (ie. expensive) restaurants, but that’s the Tulum beach area. The shared bathroom/shower building was actually quite nice and was nicely designed and cared for.
Loved the location, in a quiet area in Tulum but still near most bars and restaurants. Jesus is a great host, gave us a lot of tips and deals to discover the neighbourhood, including accessing the gorgeous beach through the beach club across the street. Easy check in and check out process (there’s no reception so Jesus reached out to us in advance to confirm our arrival time to wait for us at the hotel). Comfy bed. Air conditioner available all day.
Love how rustic the Diamante K was... with a touch of luxury. Hotel is set right on the beach... my little cabin had a massive king size bed with hanging mosquito net. Also had a hanging chair area.. the restaurant and bar area were great - friendly staff. Was a good distance away from the buzz on the other end of tulum beachfront... but meant the little beach was empty from visitors... and could sleep/wake up to the sound of the ocean...
If you are looking for a cheap place to stay in the amazing Tulum hotel zone on the beach, this is it. The place is not perfect but for the price you pay it’s a good deal. It’s a fun place, bamboo everywhere. Double bunks, unlike some other reviews I actually found the showers to be hot and of an ok flow rate. Stay here 2 or 3 nights, enjoy the restaurants and beach, then head into town for shared hostel facilities at another place.
Staff were some of the nicest we met during our entire trip to Tulum. They were incredibly warm and accommodating, service was excellent and they provided us with lots of great activity recommendations. Loved having a spot with a nice pool since it was seaweed season for the ocean. Rooms were comfortable and a good size. Bike rentals were also free, which was such a lovely perk - they are not free at all hotels in Tulum.
The lack of facilities can feel liberating for a few days, and Tunich can't do much to change the place's infrastructure (or the amount of seaweeds on Tulum's beaches). Tunich's employees are very sweet and give good advice on what to do, and the atmosphere is tranquil. The breakfast is included in the price and it's decent. If you are to stay in the hotel zone Tunich is a good choice!
This is a great little cottage that saved us a lot of money vs. the pricey hotels in Tulum. Jose and Anna are great landlords and took fabulous care of all our requests. It's so nice to stay in a real neighborhood and ride bikes to the little stores for eggs, fruit, laundry, etc..
My friend and I stayed at Casa Ojo de Tigre for two nights. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are modern and well-decorated. There is a nice pool and patio area. The staff and their pets are very friendly and welcoming. We'll stay here again the next time we come to Tulum.
The room is stunning The reception guys are amazing- ready to help, to enquire taxi for you, to provide info about tulum’s attractions They have a partnership with a great hotel for beach stay - Mia hotel. Hotel is close to the main street that leads to the beach
This hotel is a neat little oasis - although located right next to the busy main road of Tulum, inside you won't hear a thing. The ambiente is great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely a great value for the price!
Good location within the hotel zone on Tulum Beach. The restaurant offered a good variety of good quality food, which you could have delivered to the beach.
Is one of the few boutique hotels in Tulum with pool
