The room was beautiful with an absolutely awesome view. The food in the restaurant was amazing was clean, quiet gorgeous. We love watching the little electric lawnmower. You do not see any of those in the states.

We really loved this place. The owner was super-awesome, very friendly and helpful. The location is pretty nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. There are plenty of activities you can do in the nearby. This is a perfect place to spend a lovely vacation. I would gladly return to this place.

This 2 floor apartment is huge with the most incredibly beautiful view! We were warmly greeted by Patricia and her husband with a plate of smoked salmon which was delicious. There is a two person jet tub in the bathroom we hope to have time to try out on our next visit in 2 weeks. The radiant heat in the floors kept the temperature perfectly warm. Right outside there is a very large private deck with comfortable table and chairs to enjoy your coffee with mountains, water and the quaint village below.

Unique but exceeded our expectations. Hosts were wonderful. The common facilities were clean, comfortable and more than adequate. The chargepoint in the parking lot was convenient as well.

    Great location, clean, good breakfast etc but the best part was the person running the hotel who went to great lengths to make every guest happy. He helped me charge my electric car, got me extra pillows, shared a couple of places to explore for hikes, and took me out in a small boat so I could “spend time on a boat on the fjord”. He also provided evening meals for one group. And helped a young bicyclist with breakfast when no places around were open for business.

    Host prepared everything for our comfy accommodation: heating, hot water, WiFi, bedclothes, fireplace. The house is placed exactly near the water with big panoramic view. I recommend renting whole house for unforgettable vacations. The easiest way to come Hjelmeland is by using rental car. This is the best place for staying during crossing Ryfylke scenic road. Host is a very pleasant person and eager to share any trip advices.

    Spacious apartment with good standard and a marvelous view of the fjord. Located in the middle of the municipality center of Hjelmeland, it is only a short walk to grocery stores, post office, library, the sealine and more.

    Supernice house with a fantastic view. You get everything for cooking in Hjelmeland and can nicely do a trip to Preikestolen. The hosts are also very kind.
