Lovely area for exploring the south of Lofoten.
Lovely area for exploring the south of Lofoten. The village is small and there is a Joker supermarket which is well stocked for all your needs. The scenery is stunning, we arrived in October and the autumn colours were just gorgeous. The village is very close to the ferry terminal for departing to and arriving from the Bodo making it an ideal location if you arrive in the evening and don't fancy a drive to your accommodation. We would definitely stay here again!!

The island is very close to Reine fishing village and there are several nice islands nearby as well. There is a nearby Coop to get any necessary groceries as well. Several places nearby offer kayak and boating tours as well as sauna.

Although we had booked a non refundable booking for 4 nights...
Although we had booked a non refundable booking for 4 nights (it was very expensive accommodation so we felt we had to purchase the cheaper non refundable option) and considering the extreme circumstances of Covid19 we felt it very unreasonable not to refund our monies considering we couldn’t leave our Country of Australia, our flight into Norway was cancelled, and all accomodations in Europe and the UK refunded our monies, except Norway. It was entirely out of our control.SusanAustralia
