Divine Kathmandu Hotel is such a lovely cozy hotel with amazing, welcoming, kindest people!! Beds are soooo comfortable, soft, and duvet is very soft ☺️ Breakfast was very nice with many options, and there was a chef, who cooked fresh omelet Location is perfect in busy Thamel district but in a quiet corner. We had a lovely room with a nice view, it was bright and clean. Water, tea everything was provided. Most touching and memorable was people, who met us there! Rudra made our stay sooo comfortable and nice, it was our best stay in Nepal! It was my husband’s birthday, and Rudra and his team made a wonderful surprise cake, it was so nice, thank you! We are family of 4, and the first thing we remember when we talk about Nepal is Divine Kathmandu hotel, hospitality of people and smile of Yadub! (I hope I got the name right) If we’re back to Kathmandu, we will come back here for sure!! I recommend this place for 200%!

Beautiful hotel in a central but quiet location From the moment of arriving, management and staff made us feel at home. Nicely designed and super clean rooms, attached balcony comes with a great view, as well as the spacious rooftop. Breakfast was delicious too. Definitely a place we will come back to 🙏

Central location, easy walk to central thamel, but hotel is very quiet. A litte oasis. Incredibly kind and welcoming team. Communication throughout booking process with was excellent, with prompt replies to queries. Rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable and showers hot. Wifi strong and breakfast filling. Raj and his team are available, knowledgeable and ready to help as needed.

It feels like I'm home with my good old friends. The hotel is situated in the center of Thamel. It is perfect for shopping and for walking around and to find some nice places to eat. The room was very comfortable and the staff were always here to help and assist. This is why I stay at Karma Hotel every time i come to Kathmandu. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly and welcomes guests as their own family.

    You have to say No!

    You have to say No! Everyone wants you to buy from them but they are used to being rejected. There are some people wanting to talk to you, often wanting to show you their workplaces etc so they can lure you in to buy their wares. Conversations always start with Hello sir/madam. Which country are you from? However, lovely people and a lo ely place, full of history and religious beliefs.

    Treekers home provides an excellent accommodation facilities in low cost. Especially, staffs were very helpful and the location of the hotel was also nice. Note: There is a big room to improve the light and bathroom facilities. But it is perfect for those who find low cost hotel in Thamel.

    Why satkar hotel and spa write because of that spa is not available it's very wrong information to people due to all are booking stay with spa facilities is available therefore my suggestion please remove spa word immediately Kathmandu is very good please for visiting

    Mostly stayed in Thamel tourist area and ate at many local spots: House of MoMo, Third Eye, Yok Bar were all great! But careful as some of the menu descriptions can be a little misleading. Ex: I received a 'chicken skewer' meal that was NOTHING like described. It was even missing the skewers. But the staff was extremely helpful and eager to please. The traffic/driving is crazy! Mopeds/motorbikes are high percentage of use, with automobiles being less visible in the high tourist areas. It is REALLY dusty everywhere. Wear a mask or buff if you have allergy/breathing issues. Always carry your own TP if you're not used to using squatty potty's and bidets!

    Thamel is a good location for tourist, shopping and food will totally depend on your choices. Friendly area and lost of money changes and ATM. It's a good place if you like working. Pls ensure that you have a mask as it is a little dusty.

    Historic city even for now, not much modernisation so be prepared. V religious experience for esp hindus and Buddhists, a spiritual city in the main. Few tourist areas are awesome, site seeing around city can be done in a day or two. Taxis not cheap. Out of town tours or taxis are worth for spiritual understanding. Everest flight is a worthy trip but pricey. All in all 3-4 days in city is enough.

Amazing top roof restaurant with glass floor, well equipped gym, no time for spa, keeping it for the next trip to Nepal :) Bedroom perfect, nice fresh ground coffee in the tray.Breakfast amazing, day and night view just impressive. Such a quiet hotel right in the middle of Thamel, so impressive. Just loved everything

    Loved my stay here! The room was clean and comfortable which is the first prirotity for me whenever I travel. Staff were friendly always ready to help. The best part for me was the Rooftop Bar which was simply amazing, especially in the evening,sitting there with a drink and watching the sunset. The hotel's location is in Thamel but the best part is that it's tucked away in a peaceful area, so can get best of both world.
