Aranwa is set on a 17th century hacienda on the road to Machu Pichu. Luxurious facilities include a swimming pool, a spa featuring alternative medicine treatments and a museum. Everything! The place is absolutely beautiful and we didn't even want to leave the hotel anymore. There are parrots, lamas and other animals around, a cinema, a museum and lots of other things. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff was super friendly!! I wish we could've stayed for longer!!

Part of Tierra Viva Hotels Chain, this property is located in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley, 37 mi from the center of Cusco and only 6.8 mi from Ollantaytambo, the starting point to explore... The scenery surrounding the hotel was beautiful. The atmosphere was very relaxing. We sat out by a fire the first night. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We only had one night here but would loved to have stayed longer.

Located in Urubamba, 0.6 mi from train station Ollantaytambo where you can take a train to Machu Picchu., Life Hotel Valle Sagrado features a fitness center and a garden. We had a fabulous stay that exceeded our expectations! Dan is the best manager we've ever encountered. He arranged a comfortable airport transfer for us (getting a taxi right at the airport can be a rip off) and organized our rides throughout our stay for a fair price. He also shared many tips with us and became more like a family friend over the course of the week we stayed. Because it wasn't busy, we got upgraded to a massive room and got a spacious cot for our baby. The hotel is practically brand new, mattresses are super comfortable and bed linen spotless and crisp, best we've had in Peru. The whirlpool in the bathroom was a treat! The room as well as the common areas are kept immaculately clean. The hotel is adjacent to a medical clinic for foreigners which gave us extra peace of mind in case we struggled with altitude sickness (our little kids and us had no issues though, we drank coca leave tea and dissolved chlorophyll drops in our drinking water). Breakfast was filling (jam, ham, cheese, eggs) and they made the best papaya juice. The surroundings are very quiet, the hotel is located right in between towns of Urubamba and Ollantaytambo (about 15 mins ride). We didn't mind being away from the bustle and hustle in the evenings, it was perfect for our family. We took collectivos (local buses) that run frequently in between Urubamba and Ollan. and cost 1-2 sol (Urubamba is often overlooked by tourists but if you have time, it's worth a visit and meals are 3 times cheaper than in touristy Ollantay. - Rawa just off the main square has a healthy menu and a play area for kids!). There is a mini market 3-mins walk from the hotel. Dan is able to arrange day trips to Maras, Moray and Chinchero for the same price as would be charged by agents in Ollantaytambo and it leaves comfortably from the hotel. You can get your laundry done in the hotel, charged by kilo.

Located in Urubamba, a 9-minute walk from Bus Station, Lizzy Wasi Urubamba provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. Really beautiful, clean, comfy and cosy accommodation in the Sacred Valley. We couldn’t believe our eyes when we stepped through the front wooden doors, such a stunning delightful entrance and superb surrounding garden. Lizzy and her husband are the friendliest hosts I’ve ever encountered, every day asked if we slept well and needed anything. Full of information and guidance for each day. I really can’t recommend this beautiful piece of heaven especially after roaming around Machu Picchu and Ollantaytambo for the day.

The breakfast is delicious and you can really tell the owner and his family take care in everything they do. I would absolutely visit there again! Thanks for a perfect stay.

We had been there for work and looked for a peaceful place to spend the night, which we found. I know Urubamba, since I live in the Sacred Valley. Nice little town, where you find everything, you need for a short or long stay.
I liked staying here. Great food. Some good local sights. Easy access to both Pisac and Ollantaytambo. It's a little less quaint than those other two tourist hot spots, but I preferred that Urubamba was a real city, with less domination from tourists. It is more centrally located than the other two, making it easier to get to them both. Really enjoyed my stay.
Urubamba is a good place to stay to see the sights in the sacred valley. There are a lot of restaurants and our hotel into nan was outstanding. Our hosts arranged taxis to show us the sights, and once the owner even drove us to a shop!
Could feel the small town being kept a simple and cosy Village, creating space and supporting all the visitors passing through in order to visit archeological sites as well as using it as a passage way into Machupicchu.
The hotel was amazing! We wish we had more time to enjoy it, but unfortunately we only got to spend 1 night there. I loved Urubamba because it was so peaceful and just beautiful. We ate at Tunupa. They had a very nice buffet and the place was gorgeous! Beautiful gardens by the river and they also had alpacas!
This is a hotel for peace and comfort. Not suitable if you like to go out in the evening or are a party type as there is nothing to do. However taxis are easily arranged to take you to the main sights
Breakfast was a lovely spread with enough variety to suit all tastes. The property, while secluded, was a lovely, flowerfilled reprieve from the noise and traffic of most centres and was an ideal setting to recuperate after completing the Inca Trail. Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, the Cerveceria del Valle Sagrado and horse riding excursions are easily accessible: simply enjoy the 2 km walk through the village of Yanhuara to the busstop on the main road (5th Paradero) and hop the Combi for a few soles - no costly taxi required. Bonus feature of the property - two delightful resident alpacas! Excellent value in every respect.
The garden, the room. The hotel is really beautiful
