The location, view, facilities, restaurant, and staff were wonderful. We loved our relaxing stay. It was so quiet and the views of the river and valley were so beautiful at all times of the day. If you are interested in the history of the area or villa's site, ask the staff, they are full of wonderful stories of the area. The restaurant offers gourmet meals every night. Very delicious.

We loved the reception by Mrs Julia, who was very kind and friendly. She gave us tips on restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed the wineyard at the bottom of the hotel and that we were allowed to walk around at any time. The place is very calm and quiet, perfect for a escape from the city hustle and bustle. Mr Jose was also of extreme kindness setting us up with a lovely boat tour through Douro on my bday. We had just asked where we could arrange for the tour and he went all the way calling the person and helping us organize. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff was really attentive. We highly recommend a stay with them!

The farmhouse itself is tastefully decorated, blending rustic charm with all the modern comforts you could want. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the incredible dinner hosted by Maria and her mother. The meal was homemade and authentic. What made it even more special was the chance to connect with other guests around the table, sharing stories and laughter late into the evening. It felt like an evening with old friends, even though we’d only just met. Maria and her family’s hospitality made this stay unforgettable. We felt welcomed like family, and the thoughtful touches in every corner of the farmhouse added to the charm. Thank you, Padaria Farmhouse, for such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming countryside escape with an extra touch of magic!
