But what sets Le Duc de Praslin apart is its staff. The level of service here is unparalleled; each member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that we feel genuinely cared for. Their attention to detail is meticulous, from the perfectly arranged room settings to the personalized recommendations for activities around the island. They are not only attentive but also genuinely friendly and enthusiastic, sharing their local knowledge with a warm smile. The best hotel I’ve stayed at! The views are absolutely stunning, the gardens, the rooms all perfect! Traveled solo for my birthday and from check in to check out I had no regrets! Village du Pecheur is situated on the beach, where the breakfast/dinner tables are literally in the sand. The vibe and the atmosphere were wonderful. The Anse Volbert beach is beautiful and it's really only a few steps from the property!! (they provide beach towels). The staff was friendly and helped with any little thing we needed. We arrived with a rental car - there are some parking spaces allocated to the guests. The neiborhood is great, there are some shops, mini-market, food truck, etc really close to the Village. We took a half-board option catering breakfast and dinner. Both were really great. Specifically the dinner included a changing daily menu. We found the dishes tasty. Their drinks menu is also impressive. You can also request a body treatment / massage. We were thinking about it but then got sun burnt so that became less relevant... :( They have two buildings, one on the beach and the other on the other side of the road, so please note when booking what you will receive. Also, they have rooms on the ground floor, so if you have issues with that, do take note of that as well when booking... The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The wifi worked well throughout the Village. The AC was working well. It was a lovely stay. I'm happy we chose the place. PS we also stayed later at a luxury resort. If you're looking for luxury or a resort, this is less for you. But I honestly prefer the authenticity of the Village du Pecheur than what resorts have to offer...

We spent three nights at Côte d'Or Lodge in Baie Sainte Anne, and it felt delightfully like an Italian holiday—relocated to the Seychelles. Absolutely beautiful property right next to a white sand beach! Giant tortoises on the premises. Serves breakfast in the room with some of the freshest fruit I've ever had. Very accommodating, even after checkout. Pierre was friendly, funny, and very helpful.

    My review is for Anse Lazio..Everyone says you have to go there..we took a bus there..Luckily at the bottom at the bus stop at Villa Minoir a young gentleman gave us a lift to the beach..in the heat,with no taxi or bus going up to the beach would have exhausted us ..we met an elderly couple who we took with us..it would have been impossible to get there,in the heat,and we would have been exhausted..so to hire a car in praslin is not a bad idea..Coming back,we were told to ask the gentleman at the gift shop to taxi us to the bus stop..he however refused..not sure why..maybe he was exhausted in the heat..3 lovely ladies from Seychelles were kind enough to take us to the Bus stop..when we reached it..The bus just left..They kindly dropped us at our Hotel..Their kindness will forever be remembered

    The location is out of the tourist accommodation area but is...

    The location is out of the tourist accommodation area but is is very close to the Jetty. It is in the middle between the west and the east side of the island and you can drive either way. You are more close and in contact with the local people and you find all the facilities- groceries petrol restaurants nearby.

    Really very beautifull, clean, fully equipped, roomy and...

    Really very beautifull, clean, fully equipped, roomy and quiet accommodation (quiet except late June/July, when wind is strong). View from teracce is excellent. Very good free wifi. Self-catering apartment, close (300 m) to GRP Supermarket - "Indian Convenience" at Google maps. Open every day, you can find there practically all necessary for cooking, when you want to cook. And others... Payment via card in GRP is possible and without problems. But if you want, Didi & Sebastiano, owner of Jardin Marron, can cook for you - menu list is available and dish is very tastefull. Close to beautifull Anse Lazio, about 35 minutes per foot. And other nice, quiet and lonely small beaches are near. For Praslin, we didn´t need to rent a car for our 15 days stay, but it depends... Transport from Praslin airport to Jardin & back was arranged by owner (reccomended). Bus is cheap (12 SCR to anywhere/July 2022). From Jardin you can do Pasquiere track per foot to Island Pizzeria on opposite side of island (180 SCR for 2 was most expensive) and back - about 8 km, don´t worry. Or continue per foot to Anse Georgette viewpoint, then to Anse Lazio and back to Jardin Marron (round track about 18 km). More other activities are possible. Shortened, everything was OK - very recommended.

    Since entering the hotel at the reception it was a good experience. The views are super amazing, it is a large resort and scenery views are everywhere. The staff were very nice, especially Andy the buggy driver. The room was exceptional, we really liked the facilities that covers all your needs and we enjoyed the private pool. The beach is amazing, calm waves and crystal clear water with beautiful scenery. We had a romantic dinner at the Pan-Asian restaurant where our waiter mohammed provided excellent service and was very kind.

    Our stay at Colibri Hotel in Praslin was nothing short of amazing! The views are absolutely breathtaking you wake up to a postcard-worthy scene every single day. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The food at the hotel was delicious and fresh, and we enjoyed every meal we had there. The pool area may be small, but it’s perfect, clean, relaxing, and with that same stunning view. Location-wise, it’s spot on. Close to everything you need while still feeling peaceful and private.
