I love that is in a very good area, close to supermarkets and entertainment centers, also cafeterias and restaurants. We took public transportation to go to Maho beach and came back the same way. The aesthetic was very pleasing, the room had modern touch with many amenities such as kichennet, with full fridge, microwave, sink, dishwasher and full stove. Was very convenient and comfortable. 10/10

I wrote a separate review but forgot to mention one very good feature of this hotel:there were always taxis available. That is not the case at some other hotels on the island.

The location is great! The Cafe is an added convenience. The room was very clean. The stairs into the calm ocean are lovely. The view from the balcony is amazing. The jewelry store in the lobby is a nice touch. The pool bar staff, drinks and food are all wonderful! The on-site restaurants are a bonus. Each was delicious, and the staff was impeccable! A very nice variety to choose from.

Everything is in walking distance - a great market for groceries, lots of restaurants, and several boat charter companies. We didn't rent a car, and I'm so glad we didn't, taxis are great for venturing out.
Walk to the Point by Simpson Bay Resort ( practically next door) and enjoy the sunset and a cocktail - its so beautiful.
The bonfire at Buccaneer Bar ( also next door) on weekends is so much fun- and they have good food and drinks at reasonable prices.

Is a lovely bay with a long white sandy beach, the water is turquoise, but due to the sand being very thin the water is quite milky, resulting in poor visibility under water, still super enjoyable if you want to relax and read by the sea.

We had booked an ocean-view room and were given one... but it was on the lowest level and we mostly saw lawn and trees rather than ocean. Thankfully they moved us to a higher floor and that made a huge difference in our stay. The hotel location is great with free parking. It has everything you need at a resort - good restaurants, a spa, activities onsite and more. We had a rental car that was perfect to sightsee for three days around the island. There is no lack of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and spas anywhere on this island! Note that on Sundays a lot of stores are closed if you stay over a weekend.

Best area to stay when visiting SXM, honesty the night life, food , people its just the perfect location to be in! Day or night Simpson Bay is really just amazing. Close to Beach areas as well , safe to walk to and from any hotel.
The facilities meet our expectations. I was a little concerned when we arrived because the outside looks a little tired from the street side, however the units were recently remodeled and very nice inside. The outside area by the pool and beach are also very nice. The units were a little tight for our family of 6 (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids) but we managed to make it work. We only stayed 2 nights but all of us wished we had stayed at the Royal Palm Beach Resort a few more nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
everything was perfect - location, space, bedrooms, view, pool, outdoor area. walking distance to beach and a small grocery store nearby, with 10 min walk to all actions. it’s quiet area and still close to everything you may need. Nice Bistro is at 5 min walk. And separately- communication with the owners was smooth, quick and efficient. And they have excellent Wifi on location which is not always like that ( we stayed at a huge resort as well where wifi was a big issue, something to compare). highly recommend that place!
The peaceful and calm atmosphere are my favourite qualities of this resort. The Staff was very attentive to all my wants and needs. It is perfect place for a honeymoon, anniversary destination. There was no mishaps with kids, however I believe due to the location, facilities and value for the money should be a ADULT ONLY hotel.
The pool was so much fun, gave you the beach feeling without the salty showers at the end. The food was delicious, lovely job from the head CHEF and waitresses were very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful location with lots of amenities including on site departure for activities we wanted like snorkeling and other island trips. Our villas were well furnished with everything we needed and very comfortable; nice to have full kitchens. Lots of good restaurants at the resort and also appreciated the market to buy groceries. Nice beach. Enjoyed some evening music entertainment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved everything about the resort!
Breakfast was filling, tasty, and more than the usual fare offered in other hotels. I also appreciate Joanne who went above and beyond to accommodate my request for my frozen groceries. Special thanks to the bakery staff and the cleaning staff who did a great job! The location is great if you rent a car because getting in and out is so easy via Union Rd.
The island vibe was great. The property is right on a sand beach with lovely views of the Simpson Bay area. The open-air restaurant and bar were great, and the food was excellent. Staff were helpful and the property was lush with greenery and a welcoming atmosphere. They have resident dogs, cats, fish, and “watch” turtles. Our unit was quaint.
A quiet residential location. A park like athmosphere in the location. The location is still quite near the busy Simpson Bay area with ATMs, bars and restaurants. And not far from the airport. Burger King and a huge supermarket next to it are nearby. There is also a smaller supermarket nearer.
We could not have had a better place in Simpson Bay located at a quiet place in the centre but also very nearby the beach. The ladies of the reception are so incredible friendly. They gave us a warm welcome and also the best service in preparing our trip back home to Europe.
The location was great for our first few days on Sint Maarten - easy to get to from the airport & plenty of places nearby to go for drinks & food. The pool area was lovely especially with the pina coladas at the swim up bar. Breakfast was very good.
Loved it all ! From the accommodation itself to the super friendly staff.
Great location...LOVE the beach. The hotel is clean and provides great hospitality. Overall experience was awesome. I'll recommend 👍
Commodore Suites is on the strip, close to shops and restaurants without the need of a car or rideshare. I loved it’s adjacency to the beach. Also, the security on site made me feel safe as a solo traveler.
we loved our stay at the horny toad, you get a great view of Simpson Bay, relax in a quiet area and also walk to Maho beach.
Many restaurants are nearby and also grocery stores are close.
Big room, very friendly staff, a supermarket in the groundfloor, Simpson bay beach and Caribbeans pirates vibes bar/restaurants all around, love it, I'll gladly go there again
It was very clean & all the staff was nice, Special thanks to Bell Man MaX and Front Desk Agent Raie, I will definitely be back soon, The hotel is top-tier
