My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Hotels, Galata in Istanbul, Turkey! This hotel not only has a perfect location and great facilities — being close to all the historic sites and entertainment — but also an absolutely outstanding team of people who made our stay truly unforgettable. We would like to sincerely thank and recognize the exceptional team members who made a real difference for us during our stay: Kevser organized a perfect room with a stunning sea view. My wife who's an artist was super excited and used that opportunity to draw the city and sea view. Emin showed incredible care and kindness when my wife wasn’t feeling well — brewing her a soothing tea and making sure she felt comfortable. Eren was always in touch with us, helping to manage every single request we had — literally 24/7! He told me I can contact him any time we needed, which was super nice and kind. Emre helped us move our luggage in the middle of the night without a single complaint, brought us extra tea whenever we needed it, and even arranged a great discount for our airport transfer upon checkout. The most energetic and ready to help guy - truly impressive. Hatice, the lovely housekeeping lady, who was patient, kind, and attentive — especially when assisting my pregnant wife. Sumeyye Beyza, always provided perfect service and prepared our beverages with such attention and care. She made every breakfast and evening feel cozy and welcoming. Sinanguided us through all the spa options, explained everything clearly, and helped us organize an amazing spa experience. Ugur assisted us on several occasions — helping with luggage, sharing advice on nearby restaurants, and always offering a friendly word when we passed by the lobby. We were genuinely impressed by the incredible atmosphere the staff created — always positive, friendly, and full of genuine care. It felt like every person we met was sincerely happy to help us

Istanbul is obviously a stunning city with so much to see, do and learn. I first visited about 15 years ago and was left with best memories. This time round I was shocked by prices. I come from UK where entrance to most famous museums in London are free. So to pay £50-£60 for palace/museum entrance for a 2 hour tour was a bit disappointing. Prior to visiting Istanbul we visited Saint Petersburg and paid £17 for entrance ticket to Hermitage - the world’s most famous museums, and spent 6 hours exploring it. Most museum entrance in Saint Petersburg was £8-£20 max. So much better value for money. Also restaurant prices in Istanbul are the same as in London with smaller food portions. All in all Istanbul is very expensive!

Istanbul is truly a gem of a city.

Istanbul is truly a gem of a city. I can never see all of it as it is way too big to get around when on short stays- but there is so much history, culture, and the food is always amazing. The service you receive from the locals is always attentive and impeccable and they always go the extra mile for you. The local cuisine is fresh and always made with passion and there are plenty of places to go. The transport system is easy to navigate and can get you to where you need to go. Locals are always helpful and give guidance.

An impressive bucket of cultural, culinary and sightseeing attractions. Would recommend to book at least a week to find more about the ottoman’s history and culture. Beside the famous, well known objects you should also include Grand Çamlıca Mosque and the beachfront in Uskubar, on the asian side. The public transportation is outstanding: the Istanbul card (is practically a wallet) offers access to tram, bus, metro and ferry at insignificant price.

Hilton Istanbul Bomonti - Excellent location, close to shopping centers and historical places. Nice suite and good view with balcony. Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight—an extensive buffet with a mix of Turkish and international options. There was something for everyone: fresh fruits, pastries, cheeses, hot dishes, and live cooking stations. The quality and variety were impressive. Public transportation and taxis are readily available, and many attractions are just a short ride away. Executive lounge was superb and had good option all day around for food and drink. Sauna, Stem bath, Swimming pool were excellent. It is really an excellent place to stay.

Istanbul is a vibrant city that seamlessly blends history, culture, and modernity. From the stunning architecture of the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque to the lively streets of the Grand Bazaar, every corner tells a story. The Bosphorus offers breathtaking views, while the local cuisine—especially the kebabs and baklava—is simply unforgettable. It’s a city full of charm, energy, and heartwarming hospitality.

At first, I wasn’t sure about traveling to Istanbul because I felt a bit insecure, but once I arrived it was the complete opposite. It’s a magnificent city, with very warm and attentive people. The food options are endless, with an incredible variety of dishes and countless desserts, all at very good prices. Transportation is fast, convenient, and not expensive. I loved the city and will definitely return.

Just 02 minutes walk to Taksim Square. everything is nearby for daily life. Hotel manager, Mehmet, is such a nice guy.
