We travel to Colorado Springs for the balloon fest, and we’re disappointed that the balloons were unable to launch or glow on our first day there, but made use of our time seeing the beautiful garden of the gods and going downtown to see the Humpty Dumpty’s. We always enjoy Manitou Springs and visited there during their arts festival and walked around downtown shopping. Loved the mountains of course.
Loved the mountains of course. Really enjoyed the farmer's market and Manitou Springs, all the creativity. It did take almost the full week for me to adapt to the altitude with daily headaches and frequently out of breath even with dedicated hydrating etc.Guest review byLaurieUnited States - 8.0

Lovely scenery Garden of the Gods was well worth the visit We enjoyed visiting The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park which was a beautiful old building .Great bar atmosphere and service with very nice food. The old gold mines were worth the drive up through the mountains. Manitou springs was super! Colorado Springs has a great Zoo, as well as other places to hike besides Garden of the Gods. Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs are so much fun for an afternoon of shopping and trying some great food. There are some fun thrift stores, as well as other shopping throughout the city. You would need a good 5 days to see everything, and that does not include venturing out to Pike's Peak and/or Cripple Creek.Guest review bychristineUnited States - 10.0
I loved the sight seeing.
I loved the sight seeing. We didn't reserve a rental car in time so we had to use a taxi which added up and got a little pricey. But our driver with ZTrip ( Jason) was great! The Garden of the Gods was beautiful and amazing. We ate inside an airplane which was awesome! The food was good, not gourmet , but if I lived close I'd eat there often. Kids will like the food. Plenty of dispensaries around the area. Montiou springs was awesome too , we saw the dwellings. Seven Falls was beautiful! Restaurants expensive but the trout was delicious. It's a little less than a mile walk from the entrance to the restaurant (1858) , but they provide a complimentary golf cart ride. Call and make reservations.
