Chose the city because of location to local loved ones. The hotel area is bland and a bit run down. There is little by way of grocery / shopping near by. It is near highways. Neighborhoods are upscale, and good dining is within 10-minute by car.

They do not do maid service each day unless you ask.

They do not do maid service each day unless you ask. This was not communicated at check in. Caused us to run out of towels (later sent up), ran out of amenities such as soap, shampoo and toilet paper, coffee for the coffee bar, cups and glassware. , trash was not emptied. Had we known that we could request maid service we certainly would have.

Cleanliness of all hotel areas and the suite itself, all very well looked after. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks on offer were brilliant. Facilities are excellent for the hotel and price. The rooms are a fantastic size, and importantly, the bed, pillows and linen were all so comfy, and it offers a fantastic night's sleep. Great location with everything you need within a short drive.

Large, quiet hotel in a quiet suburb, 20-30 minutes car from O'Hara Airport, and 10 minutes walk from a Jewel-Cosco supermarket and the train station to Chicago Union Station. A really nice bar/restaurant Portillo's is literally next door. Hotel has self-service laundry facilities.
