Loved Hermosa Beach. Used to live there. Very local and less touristy than other beach cities. Still has lots of small older houses. Everyone was extremely nice. Comedy and Magic Club is right across the street. Bus runs on Hermosa Avenue. Good Stuff Restaurant is amazing and right around the corner. Restaurants on Pier Avenue not so great. Easy to rent e-bikes and everyone rides them on the strand. Went to Venice Beach, Hollywood Bowl, and Shoreline Village and Aquarium in Long Beach. This hotel is grossly over-rated.. our room booked had few windows.. no ability to boil water.. parking was hugely inconvenient.. why should anyone hand over car keys so the hotel staff could move your vehicles around. Never again.. the best bit about this hotel was that Good Stuff was very close nearby for a proper breakfast & leaving after two nights was a blessing. The Hermosa beaches are very clean and well kept. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. Beautiful scenery! The one major drawback back is that the restrooms were closed all except the one by the pier and there are not enough of them along the beach.Guest review byFionaUnited States
