We did visit the Gunnar Nordstrom Fine Arts Store especially for the exhibit of Dr. Seuss which was expansive, informational and very enjoyable. Kirkland WA is a small lake front town similar to some in New England. It lacks the hustle of Seattle and less commercial than Bellevue. It's a quiet restful location. I wasn't here for a vacation. There are several great places to eat in Kirkland as well as places to walk. There is a walking trail that follows an old dinner train track route. It is a gravel/paved trail and is several miles long. If you're a walker, it is worth checking out. It goes through the large Google campus.
