Be sure to visit a restaurant called Cowboys & Cadillacs...
Be sure to visit a restaurant called Cowboys & Cadillacs roof top bar. There are fire pits, an actual Airstream trailer, band and multi level cozy places to sit. Upscale steakhouse, but you can wear nice casual clothes. Another place I recommend is The Hideaway. We had a good time with friends there. Food and live music was great. Outdoor space. Visit Canyon Lake Dam.

People in town can not drive.
People in town can not drive. Had cars constantly coming into my lane forcing me onto the sholder. What was once a fantastic place to vacation has turned into another useless big city. Shop and store workers are rude and unhelpful. If my sister did not live there I would never return. The only thing in the entire place that is worth seeing is Buckees.

New Braunfels is a lovely little German flavored town with...
New Braunfels is a lovely little German flavored town with lots to see and do. I highly recommend it. There are too many excellent restaurants to mention, but a trip to Greune is definitely worth it and there are several right on the main street like the grist mill. Tubing is highly recommended in summer and there are lots of places to get wine/ beer and music. Canyon Lake has good boating and fishing and if you get bored there's always San Antonio just a few miles south.

Landa Park is a great place to go for a wonderful park...
Landa Park is a great place to go for a wonderful park experience. They have a choo-choo train people can ride (sized for kids and smaller people, but I have known larger adults to squeeze into them. in the off season (outside of summer) they are open on the weekends. Kids love this! There are lots of play areas around the park acreage as well. Lots of wonderful restaurants!

Me and my family had a wonderful time in New Braunfuls!
Me and my family had a wonderful time in New Braunfuls! We floated and kayak and fished the Guadalupe River in new Braunfels! My husband and son even caught a few baths out of the Guadalupe river wow we was floating and fishing they was I was floating with my puppy dog! It’s a beautiful river and me and my family really enjoyed it! We stayed at the The Haven NBTX in new Braunfels and it’s an amazing place to rent from!

We loved the historic areas, the river, the German food and the entertainment.
New Braunfels used to have a genuine small town feel, but now it has been overly commercialized and the traffic and parking are a nightmare.

Had a great stay at Microtel Inn in New Braunfels! The room was clean and cozy, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, which is always a plus after a long drive.
The location is really convenient.They also offer free breakfast, which was good enough t.
Overall, it’s a solid place to stay if you're looking for something affordable and comfortable.

Our cottage was beautifully decorated and equipped, in a quiet street, and with a lovely furnished front porch for an evening drink and breakfast, (available fresh from our fridge). Car parking and internet ideal. And only a few minutes walk into downtown New Braunfels.
