I have been coming to Ogunquit for 64 years. It’s my happy place. I love the beaches, the shops, restaurants, Perkins Cove and walking the Marginal way. There are always new restaurants to try. It’s exciting to see what’s new every year and to visit some old favorites like the candy store in the center and the Footbridge beach. I had less than 24 hours in Ogunquit, but enjoyed the vibrant downtown area, a great visit to the beautiful Museum of Art and sculpture garden, and a walk on Marginal Way along the coast. There is a beach close by, but walking with a lot of stuff and it's hot out would have been nice to have transportation from hotel to the beach. The hotel was clean. Beautiful place. We had a really good experience. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would come back to this place again. Would just have to figure out a better sleeping situation. Nice place with friendly staff, but I found the people nextdoor to be noisy so if there is a way they can insulate the walls between rooms better, that would be a huge plus. I love Ogunquit/ Wells area.
I love Ogunquit/ Wells area. Have been traveling here since I was a kid. Now I take my kids. Just a lovely area to experience the seaside. It's what you would picture the perfect New England seaside escape. We always stop at Yummies in Kittery to get our fill of candy for the trip. We decided to try Angelina's which in all the times I have gone to this area it was never on the agenda. Amazing food! The dessert list was long. Try the Tartufo!. Some other notable favorites include Footbridge Beach. We bring floats and float on the river part and search for crabs and shells! A trolley ride to Perkins Cove to walk the Marginal Way.
