Such a unique little place in the middle of nowhere. Clean, quiet, and beautiful! Went to enjoy the night sky with my husband for our anniversary. Chris and Benoit are gracious hosts. They surprised us by upgrading our room and even brought us champagne and treats. They are just a charming couple. Chris’ design background shines through in the chic decor of the place. And I can’t say enough of the cleanliness. The hotel is close to Joshua Tree NP where we enjoyed fun-filled hikes during the day and retreated to this oasis in the desert at night. We hope to return with friends soon!

Hotel room was very spacious. The whole weekend was nice and quiet. The layout of the hotel was accommodating. I loved that there were small activities to do like Jenga and Connect Four tables.

Plenty of space, decorated nicely inside and out, very comfortable, host graciously allowed us to park our trailer on premises early to avoid having to take it sightseeing. There was plenty of parking on side streets and area was quiet and on less busy streets. Amenities were plentiful, as were snacks and daily use items...had everything you could need and more.

    A quaint historical motel with clean, quiet accommodations. The desert scenery is beautiful. Close to Joshua Tree and Big Morongo Canyon nature preserve. Not enough eating establishments in Pioneertown, but close enough to Yucca Valley which has a few good restaurants.

    It’s such a cool place.

    It’s such a cool place. You go back in time in the western movie set street. Great restaurants (Pappy and Harriet’s, with cool band performances every now and then too) with amazing food and drinks. The desert is just magical. Breathtaking sunsets and the best place for quiet stargazing

    This was an incredible place to spend the night near Joshua Tree! The history of the place makes it feel extra special and the luxury soaps, linens, and immaculately decorated spaces (both indoor and out) will leave you feeling special too. Loved staying here and hope I get to come back soon!

    Quaint and quirky off the beaten track location, perfect for relaxation and reflection. The old film set was interesting although not very well presented, it needed more information about the sets, although the history could be accessed by asking at the saloon, which is the hub of the town, serving a good selection of food and drinks.

    Location was great and motel was very quite.

    Location was great and motel was very quite. National park was our main reason for visit. Area was promoted as artist colony but very little access to local artists. Remember to bring your own pillows
