I stayed here b/c it was close to the hwy and only 40 minutes from Barnhill Preserve (check out their website! We swam with otters) The hotel has a restaraunt connected to it. It's the first thing you see from the road. It's boarded up and people are starting to put graffiti on it. An absolute eyesore and does NOT make you feel safe at all. The temp in the room was hard to regulate so it felt stuffy (which is not good for La. weather). The positive I will say is breakfast wasn't served bc of the coronapocalypse, but they did offer a breakfast "bag" with water, fruit and a granola bar.

The price is fair.
The price is fair. But the photos on the internet were a bit misleadingly. I had a problem with how not clean the badrooms were. I rented 2 separate rooms. It was a cheap price but i didn't think that would have compromised cleanliness.

ive been here many times in the past mainly stayed at the hotel for lsu games purchased gas and ate at the local waffle house, over the years we have lodged here for lsu functions which is convenient since its location is convenient. it is also home to the pdc warehousse for cox communications so i pass through from time to time for work to pick up and rop off materials for cox communications. its kind of a home away from home for my travels to baton rouge. good people good town.

It was a good place to stop without getting into the more congested traffic of Baton Rouge. We enjoyed the Cajun food at Cou-Yon’s and then the next morning drove the scenic route along the west bank to New Orleans.
