We booked online last minute very early in the morning because of an issue we had at an Airbnb. Avita was extremely helpful in getting our large group all set and checked in early (3am). She really went out of her way to help us. Seeing her the next evening at the front desk, once again, she didn't hesitate to ask how things were going. Cuddos to Avita and the hotel manager on staff that morning!!.

    I booked a room online and was told I could pay when I got on location. We got a confirmation number.But when we got there to check in we were told the hotel had over booked and they had no accommodations for us. We left and was a little frustrated, but luckily we found another hotel. Not sure we’ll ever book there again.

    Schertz is a hidden gem!

    Schertz is a hidden gem! Nothing wrong with opening Maps and finding something you or your group are interested in! Timing is a key factor due to construction on the Freeway (i know..) but its definitely worth it, once you see what has been around you, whilst in Schertz!

    We went to eat at Garcia's for dinner.

    We went to eat at Garcia's for dinner. I highly recommend their beef enchiladas, but plan accordingly since they close at 8 pm each day. Overall Schertz is a great location if you're doing things in the San Antonio area.

    I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. We stayed for a basketball tournament and were very comfortable for the weekend. Its not super spacious or luxurious but definitely clean and just what we needed.

    Breakfast was a plus for us. The food offered was the typical hotel hot food items. The hotel plays soft piano music in halls during the day which I really liked. The staff was very friendly.
