Seattle is a vibrant city with much to do. We went to a concert at T-Mobile stadium, enjoyed an improv show at The Neptune Theatre near the University of Washington, did the touristy things (Space Needle, Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Aquarium, Pacific Science Center, Chihuly Garden and Glass), visited the Seattle Pinball Museum, spent half a day at Discovery Park, went up to Anacortes for whale watching (saw orcas and a humpback), went on a day trip to Leavenworth enjoying the drive through the Cascades. Every day we had great coffee, breakfast, surprisingly good Mexican food, superb seafood... only wish we had more than the week to explore more.Guest review byJosephUnited States - 6.0
Parking is terrible.
Parking is terrible. It is stupid to have to pay every place you have to park. And it gets really expensive. The only free place was the hotel. Thank goodness for that. Plus it takes forever to get around the city. It is very beautiful with a lot of outdoor activities. That was nice. The people were very friendly. Seattle was beautiful and had so much history. Also very modern and tech savvy. There were beautiful flowers and all sorts of trees and shrubs all over and Seattle appears to take pride in their cleanliness. I would have liked to spend more time at the Pike Market. Seattle is a beautiful city, there's a lot to do. There are more than enough museums to keep your busy for a week and plenty of parks and hiking spots, not to mention two national park.
