10/10/2024 2:30 pm. The front desk clerk was terrible. Had had a terrible attitude and wasn’t helpful at all. Matter of fact, he was very rude and we canceled our stay because of the way we were treated.
This person simply should not be working in customer service. Zero stars.

Nicknamed the Emerald City due to its lush greenery, Seattle is best known for its great waterfront, fantastic skyline and infamous rainy weather. In reality though, the city gets less rain a year than New York or Atlanta!
One look at Seattle’s skyline and you’re immediately drawn to the iconic Space Needle. Standing proudly at 600 feet, this major landmark features a rotating restaurant at 490 feet and has been featured in numerous films and TV shows, including the classic "Sleepless in Seattle."
The Needle isn't far from the popular Pike Place Market, a public farmer’s market selling fresh produce and crafts from local farms and independent merchants. It’s also the place where the Starbucks Corporation was founded in 1971. Enjoy a cup of coffee in their original store!
Seattle has many popular parks and, thanks to its mild marine climate, is a great place for outdoor activities. A visit to Kerry Park to admire the best view of the city with Mt. Rainier in the background is a must!
Arriving at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, you’re only about 35 minutes from downtown and whether you’re looking for a hotel with free parking or near the airport, Booking.com has a great choice for your Seattle trip.
Citipass 5 x features was terrific! We went to the Seattle space Needle, Seattle aquarium, Chihuly Glass museum , museum of Pop culture and upgraded to the 2 hour Locks cruise with Argosy… incredibly good 3 days and fab value. The Pike Place market and Elliott bay & Olympic sculptures are lovely. The weather was great. We enjoyed great variety of restaurants, shops, vintage shopping. We borrowed bicycles which worked well !

We had a couple of nights before our long haul so was nice to have a nice room to relax in but Seattle has the same problems we had seen in San Francisco and Vancouver. Homeless people everywhere openly taking drugs in the street and some if them explosive and unpredictable. Bit unnerving tbh and not what you want on your holidays. We’ve done 2 big road trips in 2 years but things have got so much worse and it will be a while before I will go back again. So sad :(

I might be a bit prejudiced because I have lived in Seattle for a long time previously. I only left there in 2019 to move further south in the state. I have always loved the city and the surrounding areas for the beauty and there is always something to do for anyone's likes and abilities.
There are so many areas to visit that it would take several pages to tell you about all of them. No matter where you stay in the vicinity, there is something to do!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Belltown Inn.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Belltown Inn.
We got to meet fellow cruisers who were just returning or about to embark their cruise lines.
I found the opportunity to leave some of our cold weather gear (from the plane and from over purchases or extra sweaters we packed to give the homeless in the area. They were very appreciative as it was about to get very cold. Just be careful because some of them were on the other side of the road using drugs. It was nighttime so we were very careful.
Barolo Restaurant was awesome! The Columbia Center Sky Observatory was so much better than how I remembered the Space Needle but if you want to dine in, the Space Needle was a rich experience. Def the PIKE Market. The 3 Women Bakery is a definite yes for us. Super popular.

I have visited Seattle multiple times for business and vacation and have always loved the city. My previous visit was in 2018 and the city has gone down considerably. Lots of businesses and restaurants have closed, including Macys!(may be following Covid). The Pike Place Market is still fun and full of food , crafts, flowers and restaurants.
However, the fun Market contrasts with Pike Street between 3rd and 2nd Ave which is full of homeless smoking heroine or crack cocaine openly. Sad that the government doesn't provide facilities for them and provide housing and drug rehab. Such a waste of life. Spoke with a number of people who said they would not be back and I am inclined to agree.
The beds were comfortable. The strategic location was good. The price was much cheaper than any other motel or hotel we could find in Seattle. There was a bus going into downtown Seattle from right outside door. There are pretty neighborhoods to walk through on both sides of hwy 99 that take you to Greenlake area.
Location is very strategic in downtown Seattle. Room was very spacious. Reception staff was very helpful and went extra mile to arrange airport transportation for me at reasonable price.
Lots of heat and eat options in breakfast.
The location of the hotel is good, very close to downtown and my conference hotel and some restaurants. Easily reachable by train from the Seattle airport. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
The location is quite perfect. It was only a 10$ taxi ride from the Clipper Ferry Terminal (Victoria Bc - Seattle), all the main area of downtown are around the hotel. The breakfast was good too!
