This place was horrible.
This place was horrible. Upon exiting my car, the parking lot smelled. The glass windows of the entry doors were dirty. There was not check in desk - it was a table that looked like it was filled with a disorganized array of junk. The floors and halls were dirty. The elevator was dirty. I'm assuming the hotel was under renovation, but there were no notices anywhere. The staff couldn't even offer an explanation. I felt very dirty and uncomfortable staying at this location. I truly believe I deserve a refund. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Torrington is a nice smaller town that is the home base for an amazing non-profit organization called Gracie’s Promise... amazing and giving people live in Torrington, founder and great grandfather of Gracie, aunts and uncles and kind supportive locals.

We booked our room weeks in advance get here with 7 people and we only have 1 king room I booked a suite with a king and 2 queens and sofa bed to say I was upset was a understatement we got lucky and they had a double queen room available so we took it then I was charged over 200$ for my room. They told me not to use booking they do this all the time. The hotel was ok the front desk gal was amazing and did everything to help us. The kids enjoyed the pool and the lady at the bar was so friendly.

The hotel itself needs some love. It's shabby, little things are not fixed, therefore people don't treat it well. The staff was helpful and tried. There was a pot of coffee in the morning which is really all I need.
