Our family had an amazing time in West Yellowstone.
Our family had an amazing time in West Yellowstone. It was a great place to access Yellowstone Park. Buffalo Bar was a great place for dinner. Food and drinks were exceptional . The Gusher piazza shop had great pizza and was less crowded than other places. We enjoyed walking around this town and taking in the sights. The proximity to the park entrance was better than I had expected. The town is very walkable and there is a good selection of tourist shops and restaurants. For breakfast we ate at the running bear pancake house. I highly recommend the boysenberry syrup with the pancakes or the brisket burrito. The pancakes are as big as the plate so use caution when ordering a stack. This place is popular so be prepared to wait especially on weekends. For dinner we tried Hanks chop house and really enjoyed the spinach dip. If cocktails are you thing, huckleberry mules are one of the signature drinks in the area and after trying several other restaurants Hanks has the best Huckleberry mules.Guest review byToddUnited States - 6.0

West Yellowstone offers a variety of accommodation right at the West Entrance to the park. As accommodation is limited within the park, it is a handy to overnight here when spending 2 or more days in the park. There are a variety of bars and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean, plenty of towels available and toiletries. Beds were super comfy. The pool was a great bonus, free parking too. Complimentary hot beverages available in the foyer all day. (the wife said the coffee was great) The free breakfast offering was plentiful and well stocked.
