The Eco house is a cocoon in Tan Van. The room has an opening window to the rice field and mountain. A delight to wake up to! Rose and Rex were incredible reactive when my bus had a change in schedule. They help to book a taxi from Sapa (25min away) and accommodate our last minute very early arrival. The food is really good! Breakfast fresh and delicious. From here you can do several small trekking paths, either by your own (Google maps) or ask for a guide and they will come to pick you up.

I don’t even know where to begin with this amazing homestay. I really felt like I stayed at home. The host is very friendly, caring and hospitable, here to help with anything. My room with balcony was a dream, very cosy, with beautiful view that you can enjoy straight from the bed. Balcony has a hammock to chill. Area is quite remote but it just added up to the experience as I felt right in the nature. Nearby is a cute village that you can explore. They are doing family dinners in the evening and it’s the most tasty food I had on my travels in Vietnam. Son of a host runs free walking tours around village to explore hidden gems. All of them speak good english and are always up for a nice conversation. Absolutely everything was perfect with my stay and I can’t recommend it more!

Our family host was so kind to us and were willing to help set up a taxi group for when my family wanted to go explore Sapa Center. They were accommodating and the bonus was them owning a cafe next to our homestay. Breakfast is free and the full menu is delicious. The peach orange lemongrass tea is a must try. The bungalow I booked for my family was a Mountain View of the valley. We saw water buffalos roaming up close and had an amazing view of the sunrise and sunset. They also provide other your services such as Fansipan trekking, Sapa trekking, etc. Overall, it was a breath of fresh air and well needed when wanting to get away from the city.
