The location it is unbelievable, it cannot be improved. Breakfast looking to la campagna is one unforgettable experience. The host is very attentive and he made sure we felt like home.

The location was breathtaking with gorgeous views and lovely grounds. Our room was comfortable and beautifully appointed. We really enjoyed the food, wine and service at the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was excellent. When we were checking out, we inquired about getting a taxi into town to resume our trek on the Via Francigena. Our host, Georgio, graciously offered to drive us into town himself. When saying farewell, Georgio encouraged us to contact him if we needed anything, explaining that the staff at the Sant’llario considered their guests to continue being their guests until they reached their next destination. We were all very impressed by this sentiment.
