We hoped for a special stay in a lovely historic building that would both inspire and relax. Our hopes were significantly bettered in terms of the accommodation, location, the wonderful hosts who made us so genuinely welcome and the breakfasts were sensational. There was nothing that was not provided or offered and as frequent travellers this has been by far the most special of all. Thank you to Kay and Doug. 5 star plus

Lovely friendly welcome by Rachel, straight away felt relaxed, she was so kind and attentive nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Room was extremely comfortable, great quality bed, generous touches like a small fridge in the room with milk and a small bottle of wine inside. Little details that obviously taken a lot of thought, eg dressing gowns, new slippers even a safe I noticed! Ensuite was excellent quality. The whole room was stylish with a nice feel of modern and traditional. Breakfast had been explained to me before my visit that it was a continental style help your self service that's exactly what it was which was fine by me. Can't speak highly enough of the hosts, the property or the area, really looking forward to staying again.
