We loved everything about the property. A fabulous location, we walked to restaurants, shops and the MAC. The house itself is a jewel and impeccably clean. The rooms and bathrooms were roomy and comfortable. The beds were a dream after 30 hours of travel and I appreciated little touches that added comfort. Everyone there was welcoming and so warm. Communication was great with very specific instructions on entry.

Its a family run place and they are absolutely lovely. The mother cooks very delicious home made food for very reasonable price, home made jam and eggs and fruit for breakfast😋😋😋 The daughter is the translator and very helpful and attentive. The place is very clean, organized and well managed. The place is full of Peruvian art work and antiques. They guid you with where to go and how to go, where to exchange money and lots of helpful tips. You will feel cared for by the family

Casa Republica Barranco is a beautiful historic building, in the center of Barranco with walking distance to many excellent eateries, a block from the cliff looking down at the ocean, and 30-min nice walk to Larcomar. The staff is very friendly and efficient, from the reception desk to the breakfast host. Breakfast is a bit on the generic side but it works fine for us; also the dining room is open 24/7, which is nice if you would like a sip of coffee/tea late into the night. There is no elevator, but the staff would help with the luggages for rooms upstairs. The bar on the roof top is very cozy — we hung out there for a few hours waiting for our late night flight and the staff handed out a couple blankets for us to keep warm, in addition to the heat lamp — I'm surprise that it is not very popular?

The room was clean, neat, and bright with modern accessories. The staff always met us with a smile and were available to answer our questions. The breakfast was delicious and we appreciated having a menu of breakfast options rather than a fixed offering. Coffee was pretty tasty too.

Absolutely stellar stay at Villa Barranco. The property and rooms are gorgeous. Our initial rooms were fantastic, then we were treated to room upgrades which were more stunning. For breakfast each morning we had the most delicious eggs and pancakes. The property itself is wonderful but the team at Villa Barranco were the most kind, knowledgeable, accommodating. Issac, Raphael, Sarah, Julio, Daniel, Frank and everyone else on the team made our trip so fabulous! Absolutely recommend at stay at Villa Barranco! We will be here for our next visit to Lima!

I had a great stay here. The owner is kind and responsive, the employees are as well. The weather is so nice here that I never shut the sliding glass door. It has everything you need, a gym, laundry facilities, pool and lounging area on the top floor where the view is amazing and peaceful. The apartment is clean and well decorated with all the items needed for cooking. Every shop and restaurant is very close by. You can’t go wrong!
