Host very welcoming and was immediately made to feel at home. Great location, great place to explore from with a wealth of knowledge from the host massively appreciated. Room very cozy and great open aspect sliding doors onto a big decking area. Cracking breakfast.

Breakfast was not provided. But Paul, the proprietor, picked me up from the side of the road when our car broke down, took me to the cottage, lit a fire, got the heaters going, brought in our luggage, and was so very kind to us. He offered to take us to Ullapool (1 hour drive) if needed due to the car breakdown.

Great breakfast , selection of fresh fruit , yoghurt , pastries and jams, teas and coffee , was also offered bacon rolls or scrambled eggs , which i took advantage of, lovely room nice and chilled, set us up for the rest of the day.

It had an excellent view of the small town harbor from the kitchen window! It was very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils. They even had salt and pepper and coffee and tea with cookies! The gist was very communicative. Everyone in our party was so impressed!! It’s up four flights of stairs so only book if you are able to carry your luggage etc up to it. But it was so worth the few steps. It was a perfect place to stop along the 500. There is a cute restaurant right next door but we had already brought our dinner to cook. The neighbor said it was great food though. They had shampoo and conditioner which was a bonus. Truly wonderful hosts. Best stay yet!!

The staff were very friendly and the food was exceptional. A great wine selection and the cocktails didn’t disappoint. The room was well laid out and equipped with everything we needed. Nice and clean, comfortable mattresses. The views.. Just wow!! Comfortable lounge next to a fire place to relax and catch up with eachother.
