Property was exceptional in its location. A beautiful, spotlessly, clean hotel. Expensive, but this is Hawaii, and as a female, solo traveler, the location was spot on as I could walk everywhere.

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Friendly host, clean space, good communication, many amenities plus breakfast. The house rules are clear and sensible. We felt appreciated during our stay.

The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. Hotel is at a great location near the beach and on the main road where all the activity happens. Room was spacious and very comfortable.

The property is situated 38 km from Pana'Ewa Rainforest Zoo, 42 km from University Of Hawaii, Hilo and 44 km from The Pacific Tsunami Museum. The property is non-smoking and is located 17 km from Kilauea. Breakfast was great and we had a beautiful window view seat.

Incredible location, great facilities and outstanding service from the staff (everywhere). Alondra at the front desk was just brilliant! We really enjoyed our stay.
