The infrastructure is quite impressive. It has many common areas in which you can make yourself comfortable. I really enjoyed the terrace and the inside area for working and chilling. The coffee, burger and chicken salad are spot on.

Featuring a shared lounge, terrace and views of city, Hostel do Mar is located in Carrapateira, a 17-minute walk from Bordeira Beach.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It has all the necessary facilities, a nice terrace with a beautiful view, and a great location. Another big plus for me was the curtains on each bed, which provide privacy in a shared room, unfortunately not all hostels have it. The receptionist was also very friendly and even gave me the choice between two rooms, since they weren’t fully booked, so I could switch from an upper bed to a lower one.

Carlo's Beach Guest House is located on the beachfront in Praia de Odeceixe, a few steps from Odeceixe Beach and 12 miles from Aljezur Castle.

A simple guesthouse, without any luxury, but the real luxury is staying so close to such a beautiful beach. The room had an en-suite bathroom, a very comfortable bed, and faced a peaceful interior patio. The staff member who welcomed us was very polite and professional. The common areas, including the kitchen, were well maintained and in perfect condition. They also have a surf school and equipment available for rent.

Located in Odeceixe and with Aljezur Castle reachable within 10 miles, Hostel Seixe provides a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace.

I had a private room with a double and a single- I was traveling alone but it was the only space left when I booked. They must had a cancellation because there was an empty room with a single twin bed. The location was convenient- after hiking all day I appreciated that it wasn’t up the hill, and is a minute walk to several restaurants but the window opens onto the street so it wasn’t very private and was a bit noisy at night. Had a clothes drying rack. I guess it would have been ok if I was under 23 years old, broke, and it was priced lower.

Hostel Nature is located on the beachfront in Zambujeira do Mar, a 3-minute walk from Zambujeira do Mar Beach and 8.3 miles from Sardao Cape.

The owner is a great guy and the history of the building is amazing. It was owned by his grandmother and he has made it a welcoming space for travellers in her name. There is a generosity felt within the welcome of the space itself and noted with the free gifts, a glass of wine, a coffee, ice dispenser, free washing machine and tumble dryer. Wonderful map of The Fisherman's Walk, great selection of books and letters displayed from guests. Everything was very clean.
