I thought Exmouth was fascinating.
I thought Exmouth was fascinating. We did a snorkel tour and a Whale Shark tour which were both excellent. The town is small but there is so much to do in the ocean. The snorkelling at Turquoise Bay and Ospey was fantastic. The turtle beaches were great to visit during hatching season to watch the hatchlings scramble to the sea. The ocean is filled with such a diversity of marine life. It was fascinating. Eating out is expensive in Exmouth but there is an IGA grocery store where you can buy nearly every needed. I also would strongly advise people traveling by car to stock up on groceries in Woolworths at Carnarvon while driving up there. If you like a good coffee, go to the Bamboo Cafe in the mall. They have great salads, muffins, and sushi as well

Exmouth is amazing. The surrounding landscape is incredible.
Exmouth is amazing. The surrounding landscape is incredible. The access to Ningaloo Reef is very good. Lots of tour operators to get you onto the reef. But you need a vehicle to get around easily as there are no buses and limited taxis.

We went on a whale shark snorkeling adventure and 2 days on a dive charter. Exmouth really is about Ningaloo reef and its marine mega fauna and other beasties. It was Lovely to come back to piping hot showers, enjoy the evening vibes of the shopping centre where all essentials were available. Laid back and friendly.

Fantastic snorkeling where the desert meets the reef.
Fantastic snorkeling where the desert meets the reef. Definitely hire a car if you can (best from airport). Ningaloo bakery is fantastic and there are 2 IGAS in town with everything you could want (including pre-made salads etc). Food prices are not much dearer than home but fuel is expensive. Note that if you are going to Coral Bay, most of the off-shore coral is dead so you need to go ~1km offshore for snorkeling etc. You can snorkel directly off-shore at Exmouth at Oyster Stacks and Turquoise Bay (~45min drive). Oyster stacks is the pick, but snorkel down the sand beach end, its easier access and more interesting (wear reef shoes). Saw great turtle and reef shark activity there, even a sea snake!.
this property is very hard to rate. It was built by USA Army as a barracks and that is what you get. It was divided into two bedrooms separated by a bathroom of sorts. It was not too bad but it was no palace either. The bedrooms were fine but that shower was unique. If you have a glamour queen in your party get ready for some grief. Rough abouts will be fine with it. Exmouth is very highly priced all over but then again we are not their for the fine decour
Had all you needed for a holiday stay in Exmouth. Close to everything . Keira was great , I made a silly mistake accessing my key and she was there in minutes to help me out .
The property is exactly what it says it is , cosy , clean and walking distance to cafes, restaurants and the information centre
Great location close to shops (there is one shopping area nearby) and on the northern edge of town (away from the busier industrial end of town). Facilities were good. I wouldn't say it's a modern fitout but not too dated either. Perfect for family get away. Suited us well for a 7 day stay.
There was plenty of space for the family. Great clean accommodation with ample parking for vehicles and a 6 meter boat. Close proximity to all central locations within Exmouth. Would definitely come and stay again. Thank you.
Great Location, with easy access to everything in Exmouth. Quiet area at the time, it was the end of the season so not a lot of people around. The unit was clean and tidy with the basics to get the time away started.
This is the perfect place to stay in Exmouth. The self-contained rooms are fantastic with a little kitchenette, washing machine and separate bedrooms. Escape Resort should be your only accommodation option.
the property is located in a small community, quiet, very respectful, 10 minutes walk from the center of Exmouth where bar, coffee shops, groceries are located and well located for other attractions.
Dinner and breakfast at Whalers Restaurant were very excellent. Pool is one of the nicest in Exmouth. Could maybe be improved with a little shade over pool itself, but it's a very nice pool.
Ningaloo Lodge is central in location with walking distance to the shops and other attractions like the aquarium and art gallery. Spotlessly clean with a real homely feel.
